Terrific Takeout: G50 Bar & Grill


G50 is a relatively new hot spot in Midtown you should know about that is expertly run by Vincent DeGrezia.   It has a hopping bar we noticed but we want to direct your attention to the takeout menu.  Lobster bisque is gives you a smooth, creamy start.... 

...that absolutely should be followed by the simply amazing Baby Spinach Salad. This was one of the best salads we have seen recently we like the care employed in the size of each ingredient-not only was it fresh and delicious, especially for vegetables, but it was in the right bite-size. The applewood-smoked bacon was standout. They correctly put the dressing on the side.
We love Mahi-Mahi so we tried it at G50 since we can't be eating it in Florida right now because we haven't figured out a way to write about the Best of Manhattan from a beach (but Peachy is working on it). Even if you don't like coconut, you will like it here as it is creatively pan-roasted crusted with shrimp, garlic ginger spinach and miso glaze. G50 Bar & Grill is Terrific Takeout!
