Redken Creative Consultant Guido created a natural, modern-chic hairstyle at the Akris Fall 2012 show this morning. He emphasized the juxtaposition of the rich, colorful collection (inspired by expressionist painter Franz Kline), and the super simple hairstyle. This afternoon at Celine Fall 2012, a presentation for the first time in years, Guido created a modern sixties hairstyle, befitting designer Phoebe Philo’s minimalist, sporty-luxe collection.
AKRIS
“The look is very simple – but it’s a new modern way of wearing the hair. It’s very clean, natural and very pure, counterbalancing the rich clothing. ”
Redken Products:
1. On damp hair, create a clean center part.
2. Apply Body Full Volume Amplifier to the roots and blow dry hair straight just at the roots; let the rest of the hair air dry naturally.
3. Tuck both sides behind ears.
4. Apply powder refresh 01 from mid-lengths to ends and then apply a bit of powder grip 03 at the ends to create some texture.

CELINE
“The look today at Celine is a little bit sixties inspired, girls with personality. I’m using lots of hair extensions and creating a deep side part swept over the face like a bang.”
–Guido, Redken Creative Consultant
Redken Products:
1. Start with clean, dry hair and mist with water.
2. Apply a small amount of guts 10 to the roots to give just a bit of lift to the crown of the head.
3. Create a very deep left side part so that hair covers the forehead almost like a bang and clip hair on either side.
4. Tuck right side of hair behind ear and then pull a back piece of the hair over the ear.
5. Apply wax blast 10 at the ends of the hair to create a little bit of texture and control.
6. Finish with quick dry 18 instant finishing spray.
