Fresh Origins Sparklers™ Highly Recommended by the Peachy's Pantry Panel of Whom You Know

Flowers go so beautifully with food. What is better than one that is actually edible? Fresh Origins Sparklers come in vibrant, stunning colors like red, fushia and yellow! These beautiful flowers actually resemble exotic coral and are a perfect addition to any dish! These flowers would work perfectly with a restaurant's dishes like Bistro Citron, to add some natural vibrant color to their already wonderful dishes! These are also great to use in cocktails to add a bit of pizazz to old favorites! I recently had a few friends over for dinner and added them to our mojitos. Everyone really appreciated the added touch of the sparklers. I will continue to use them whenever I want to give a dish or drink that added special touch!

We all know these lovely blossoms from florists all over the world. Formations that are indeed flowers, but resembling coral reefs, "sparklers" now come tiny. Thanks to Fresh Origins, miniature versions of these lush bouquets are now available, and edible in red, fuschia, and yellow. This is the flower of the amaranth plant, long estimated as a healthy grain. You will find them at your favorite upscale restaurant, dressing an entree. If you see one of these lovely little blooms on your plate nestled next to a succulent piece of fish, eat it! As a vibrant touch to a spring cocktail, stir with it, and munch as you enjoy your libation. I thought how amaranth and quinoa blended so well, and made a tabouleh from quinoa. Into it I chopped celery, onion, parsley and some sparklers for color. Tossed in some raisins, and thus had a first fabulous salad of the season.

When I saw the Sparklers that had come in the mail, I was a little unsure of how to use them. I don't do much cooking that involves making my guest's plates look spectacular. When I went to the Fresh Origins website, it was extremely helpful. I got lots of good ideas on how to use them. After looking at various pictures and seeing several recipes, I used the Sparklers when serving dessert. I made a layered chocolate cake and used the Sparklers to add a splash of color to each plate. They were a huge hit! Everyone wanted to know where I found the Sparklers and couldn't get over what a difference they made in the presentation. I can't wait to do this again!

Fresh Origins Sparklers are amazing. They are edible flowers. They are gorgeous. They have tall- pinkish- red coral-like blossoms. The blossoms are produced on an amaranth plant. The flowers can be added to any entrée. You can let your imagination go wild! Decorate your desserts and cocktails to create an absolutely breathtaking visual appeal. They even have durable shelf life. I think they have made our dinner at Il Gattopardo even more spectacular!

Sparklers are so beautiful. I love these unique jewel-like flowers. They have such beautiful stunning colors. I love the red, fushia, and yellow. It makes any entree, dessert or cocktail come to life. It is a breathtaking garnish for any dish. I can't help but add this to all of my dishes before serving them. I love putting these in drinks on a nice sunny day such as today. Sparklers are just a fun way to make your food or drink complete!

It can also be used as a very colorful garnish for mixed drinks. Though rather mild in flavor, it adds a visual tropical flair to any dish.

Fresh Origins is America’s leading producer of Microgreens and Edible Flowers. Combining the benefits of an ideal climate with a deep passion for quality and innovation, Fresh Origins products are sought after by the finest restaurants and top chefs.

David Sasuga and his family operate the 24 acre farm located in the picturesque rolling hills of San Diego County, California where the near perfect weather allows for production and harvest almost every day of the year. David was originally growing flower and vegetable starter plants back in 1995, when a local chef visited his greenhouse and got excited about some basil seedlings he saw growing there. He had never seen basil this tiny and wanted to use them in his restaurant. It was then that David started growing Microgreens resulting in today’s catalog of over 380 Microgreens, PetiteGreens, Edible Flowers, Shoots Tiny Veggies and related items.

Fresh Origins’ primary product remains Microgreens. They have exceptional color, are bursting with flavor and have outstanding keeping quality due to the attention and care given in the growing, harvesting and packing. They are hand harvested to order at the peak of freshness and shipped overnight to arrive the next morning to all parts of the country.
