Peachy at The Met: Metropolitan Museum Exhibition Explores Origins of Ancient Egyptian Art Exhibition Dates: April 10–August 5, 2012 Exhibition Location: Robert Lehman Wing, Gallery 964 and 965 (court level)

Our original coverage:
Peachy Deegan walked like an Egyptian straight to the first floor, back to the Lehman wing and down the stairs to see the latest and greatest by our favorite museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art.  We loved the pair of turtles and found this exhibit to be highly influenced by our animal friends.
There they are!  They made the digital press kit!  This exhibit is sure to delight young and old alike with its vast variety of ancient relics.  Lions, jackals, hedgehogs, blowfish, and frogs all graced various pieces.  We particularly loved the box with Flamingoes! And did you know hair combs are ancient art?  Take a stroll through this exhibit-and remember it is not in the usual Egyptian area way to the right: it is straight to the back and down.
