Peru La Familia Guzman Coffee by Dillanos Highly Recommended by Whom You Know
So good coffee is a top priority to me. And luckily no matter where you are in Manhattan you probably have access to a more than decent cup. However, at home you have access to whatever spectacular bean you choose to bring home. Now that I have tried Dillanos Coffee Roasters whole bean coffee, I may become a coffee addict instead of just a coffee drinker. With multiple bags on hand, I seem to turn to their beans from “Peru”. This is not a giant corporation or growers that are just in it for the money of this incredibly lucrative industry. It is more of a craft and they produce the highest quality beans to prove it and we commend and celebrate that. Nature and Nurture seems to fit for Dillanos. And the Peru beans produce a medium roast that is smooth and less harsh on my stomach due to its lower acidity. Amazingly chocolately, and even a little sweet, this coffee stands on its own without the need of spoonful of sugar.
I have always been a fan of coffee, but never so much as when I became a mom! Coffee has seen me through many a sleepless night. I find the aroma of coffee to be so comforting and soothing. The Coffee Ritual: The act of grinding the beans, pouring the water, listening to it brew as the heavenly aroma fills my home, makes me so happy. I have tried many different brands of coffee in my day, but never has one been so fabulous as Dillanos "Peru, La Familia Guzman" blend. Perhaps it is the smooth, chocolatey aroma that makes this blend so appealing or perhaps it is the fact that it is part of the "One Harvest Project". As stated on the Dillanos website, "The One Harvest Project has two objectives: promote great coffees, and to supply sustainable futures to the amazing people who grow them." Yes! Love this mindset, love this project. Purchase this coffee and help to support those who are providing it for us in the first place!
I am not myself until I've had my morning cup of coffee. When I tried the Peru Roast, I was glad I had. It was one of the most perfect cups of coffee I've ever had. It was perfectly sweet and was smooth with every sip. I got the full taste of chocolate from every whiff and taste. If you know anyone that loves coffee, this is the perfect roast for them. I know I've recommended it to several of my coffee drinking friends. I know I'm planning on giving some as a gift.
Dillanos Peru Coffee is so yummy! I love the way my entire kitchen smells like this coffee. It really is good to the last drop! This is a bold and unique cup of coffee. I honestly haven't tasted a cup of coffee this good I think ever! Give it a shot and you MUST drink it without sugar or cream! You'll see how amazing it tastes. Give it a shot and you'll see how wonderful this tastes!

Be sure to watch this:
When we started roasting on a small 20-pound coffee roaster, two things were immediately apparent: roasting excellent coffee takes unwavering commitment, and it takes more than great coffee for retailers to thrive in a competitive business environment.
So, we immersed ourselves in the specialty coffee industry, learning how to source the best coffees from around the globe and meticulously roast them to their full potential. We also created an internal culture that valued fun, creativity, and integrity, seeking employees who believed in the culture as much as we did. We focused our energies on building meaningful, rewarding customer relationships, striving to give our customers more than they expected. As we near our 20th anniversary, we're proud to say that we still live by these same values every day.
Our award-winning coffee selection is headlined by our prized One Harvest Project, each purchased directly from a coffee cooperative or estate that shares our vision of producing exceptional coffee using responsible growing practices. Our employees go all out in everything they do. Our customer support extends well beyond coffee education and barista training to include strategic brand advice, marketing and design support, and innovative business tools, all centered on boosting a retailer's bottom line. At Dillanos, we believe we're all partners in the global coffee trade, and the entire industry prospers when we work together. THE DILLANOS STORY
Dillanos opened as an espresso cart in 1992 in front of Howard Heyer's convenience store in Buckley, Washington. A partnership between Howard and his son David Morris, the cart was fueled by David's enthusiasm, Howard's business background, and a sincere desire to offer great coffee and great service. They named the business after David's newly born son Dillon.
David and Howard opened two more retail locations the following year, and made two other decisions that would shape the business for years to come. They invited David's brother Chris Heyer, who himself worked as an experienced barista, to join the family business, and they bought their first 20-pound coffee roaster to kick off Dillanos as a wholesale coffee roasting operation. It wasn't long before the brothers were soaking up information from coffee professionals throughout the country. They learned from the ground up what it takes to source high-quality green coffee, perfect nuanced roast profiles, and create balanced, smooth-tasting blends. They were passionate about the artistry of bringing out a coffee's inherent character with just a small nudge of time and temperature. They soon sold the retail stores and put all their energy into wholesale roasting at a new location in Sumner, Washington. As the family business continued to expand, Dillanos grew from a tiny three-person outfit to a nationally recognized roaster with more than 1,500 customers across the country. Today, Dillanos employs more than 65 enthusiastic staff members and roasts for some of the country's most recognized specialty coffee brands and cafes. In the face of all this exciting growth, the Dillanos mission statement remains the same: Help People, Make Friends, Have Fun!
