Recently, Whom You Know reviewed "Make Someone Happy"
Peachy Deegan recently chatted with Mover and Shaker Will Nunziata!

Peachy Deegan: What do you credit your tremendous progress to?
Will Nunziata: I would say hard work, persistence, and a positive and open outlook.

What did you enjoy the most about making your new album?
I love the process of collaboration, and working with my brother, the pianist Brad Gardner, bassist Michael Kuennen, engineer Sean Kelly, and everyone at Water Music Recording Studio was a complete joy.

What do you think your personal strengths are in performing?
I like to think I am always honest and in the moment, and never sing the same song the same way twice.

What do you think your twin's strengths are in performing?
Anthony is great at being subtle and nuanced in his performing.

What makes being a twin challenging on stage?
I don't think there are any challenges. If anything, it's always fun because we are very in the moment and off-the cuff in our "in between the song banter." We like to keep one another on each others toes.

How will your show at Feinstein's this summer be the same and different from past shows?
We will be doing some songs from the album, but 3/4 of them are going to be new.

Now, what has been your best performing experience and why?
It's hard to pick a best anything. I just feel fortunate to be making my living doing what I love to do.

How close are you to being able to perform at Carnegie Hall?
I leave that in the hands of the powers above. It is the ultimate venue for any singer. I don't want to push it, when its meant to be, it will happen, and it will be truly a dream come true.

What are your other future ambitions?
I just want to continue to make a living doing what I love- entertaining people. Whether its on stage, on television, I am open to any and all opportunities that present themselves.

Will you ever do a trio with Father Neenan and if so what will you sing?
Interesting idea, perhaps for a Boston College reunion we can do a three-part harmony "For Boston."

Is your family dog still wearing a Boston College collar?
For special occasions.

What or who has had the most influence on your pursuit of excellence?
Love and support from family and friends, and also its my own willingness to continue to grow and push myself as not only an artist, but as a human being... to keep growing and moving forward. I don't like sitting still, or becoming complacent. I am always looking for ways to get better.

What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you at a cocktail party?
If it was a great cocktail party, I surely don't remember much of it.

Who would you like to be for a day and why?
My dog. She lives such a nice, easy life. Eat, nap, eat, have ears rubbed, eat, sleep. What a life!

If you could have dinner with any person living or passed, who would it be and why?
I'd love to go out to dinner with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Judy Garland, Sammy Davis Jr, and Bette Davis. I am obsessed with that era of the "Rat Pack" and the Golden Era of Musicals and Film. I think their stories would be fascinating, although I have heard many of them from YouTube clips. But to hear it from the horse's mouth over a nice meal and bottle of wine, well, that would be pretty great.

What has been your best Manhattan art or music experience?
Feinstein's has become my "home" of sorts, as Anthony & I have been fortunate to be asked back once a year to do a week-long engagement. Everyone there, from Entertainment Director John Iachetti, to the wait staff, are just the best to work with.

What do you personally do or what have you done to give back to the world?
I feel like what I do as an entertainer is two fold. On one hand, logistically, I literally "sing for my supper." I need to pay my bills, eat, survive, etc. But I also look at what I do as a calling of sorts. To be able to affect people's lives in a positive way is my way of giving back.

Other than New York Notes of course, what is your favorite Whom You Know column and what do you like about it?
I love them all!

Have you drank The Peachy Deegan yet and if not, why not?
I haven't yet... where have I been? Living under a rock? I need to get one ASAP.

What else should Whom You Know readers know about you?
If they want to keep up with what I'm doing and where I am performing next, they can follow me on Twitter @willnunz, and on Facebook. Also, at www.WillandAnthony.com
