In the world of movies, there are those that entertain you for a fleeting moment and those that truly move you, leaving a lasting impression and feeling that motivate you to do something, like want to get a baby elephant for a pet except for that a baby elephant is bigger than your Manhattan closet(and what would you do with all of your shoes once he got here). "Born to Be Wild" is certainly the latter. Narrated in English (though you may certainly also watch it in French which we did once and also Spanish) by Morgan Freeman, Born to Be Wild is an instant classic for all ages and will captivate your beating heart with the seemingly human qualities the animals themselves exhibit.
Listening to Morgan Freeman from the very start is the essence of serenity; his calm, even tone puts you at ease in the craziest of jungles and in his own characteristic regal nature the sound of his voice alone will make you feel that all is right in the world, even if you are meeting two fairy godmothers that are smoothing the wrinkles of life for these young, orphaned animals.
