Truffle Balsamic Condiment by Cavedoni Is Absolutely Adored by the Peachy's Pantry Panel! It is a Total Must for Your Gastronomic Life!
I am obsessed with truffles!! I love them. Every time I see them on a menu, I usually order the dish. With that said, I was so excited to try the Truffle Balsamic Condiment. It combines two of my favorite flavors! It is delicious!!! I could drink this out of the bottle! It was great on salad and I actually tossed it with pasta and it was fantastic. Neither the truffle nor the balsamic flavors were overpowering. It really is easy to use and should be in every cabinet everywhere. It also made me look like a professional gourmet chef, so I am all for that too! I also have to mention that the bottle is beautiful. It shows off the deep color of the condiment. The clear glass and dark liquid is beautiful and can easily be set out on the table and look good. It is an added bonus. Run- don't walk- to pick yourself up a bottle. You really will not be sorry you did.
If there is one thing I am hooked on food-related it is anything truffle and anything with balsamic. Neglecting the fact it always ends up on my clothes, I cannot get enough of it, so when I tried Cavedoni’s Guston Tartufo, I was in heaven. This truffle balsamic dressing is gold. Talk about the epic mixture of flavors. The Italian born Condimento alimentare comes from the rich grapes and is infused with black truffle. This stuff is lethal and the 100 ML bottles goes fast if you pour it on like I do, so be less then generous to make it last as it is so flavorful you don’t need to over pour. The texture is a little bit thicker than your traditional vinegar and goes amazing with pastas, risotto and red meats. Sprinkled on your favorite pizza, you will never look at another pie the same without it. Retailing for $40, this isn’t the cheapest dressing on the market, but it is one of the best. Let’s face it, truffles are not cheap and if you simply love the taste like I do, this dressing is worth every cent. Go to www.cavedonibalsamic.com and order away, thank me later.
Cavedoni Truffle Condiment is amazing. Its concentrated black truffle flavor will totally wow you. I adore this product.
Cavedoni Basamic Condiments are made from specially selected Trebbiano grapes from Modena. The grapes are pressed carefully. The resulting must is cooked slowly over a naked flame. The condiment is then aged for many years., It matures and becomes concentrated in wooden barrels of various essences (oak, chestnut, mulberry, juniper). Only a select few Modenese families possess the secret of making this gastronomic treasure with its precious sweet and sour harmony . As we all know, black truffles are hard to find. But here in a lovely bottle you can capture their essence. And find so many ways to showcase their flavor. On egggs. On steak. on a salad. You are limited only by your imagination. Thanks you Cavedoni!!!!
I've always loved balsamic vinegar and truffle as separate entities. I had never thought to put the two flavors together to create a condiment, but Cavedoni sure did! I was really excited about using their product, especially because the packaging is magnificent! It comes in a gorgeous box and would be the perfect gift for the food lover in your life! It is also great because you don't need to use a lot of it to enjoy its flavor! This bottle will last a long time, even if you use it regularly. According to Cavedoni, only a select few Modenese families possess the secret of making this incredible condiment. There is such a sweet and sour harmony to it that certainly comes from a complex secret recipe! It is aged in casks of oak for many years and is infused with black truffles. It is entirely handmade in Italy, which is a great mark of its quality. The truffle balsamic condiment can be used to liven up many types of dishes. For starters, it can be used as a salad dressing! It is also recommended for risotto, omelettes and mashed potatoes but can also be used for meats and veggies too! I can't wait to experiment even more with this wonderfully exciting condiment! It is now my go-to for kicking my dishes up a notch!
New to me, and a most welcome addition to the larder, the "condimento alimentare" from the House of Cavedoni is now my best friend. The boxed balsamic vinegar conveys it's special allure from the initial opening of the package. This concentrated form of balsamic has a syrup-like consistency, and only a few drops are needed to add its perfume and flavor to a dish. The Gusto Tartufo is especially seductive, in a risotto, or on vegetables. Or drizzled on a duck breast, grilled to perfection. Cavedoni has been gently crafting their vinegars for over a century, and the care and art that goes into each bottle is evident. Originating from Modena, a region known for it's vinegars, Cavedoni produces beautiful, aromatic, gustatorial delights. The bottles house each precious amount in dark glass, protected as a fine wine would be protected. Treat this vinegar as the superior balsamic that it is. Savor it's delicate infusion of black truffle, and use it in your recipes to bring a finish that will impress your guests and your own palate. Give this bottle as a gift the next time you're invited to a house party, or a special occasion feast, and you will win friends and influence people. Cavedoni calls it a "dressing", and it does indeed dress any dish it graces. Explore the world of balsamic, make it part of your expertise, and bring a bottle of Cavedoni condimento to the table as you would salt and pepper. It's a vocabulary you will enjoy learning as much for it's rich history as for it's intense flavor balance of sweet and sour.
Attached to the package is a tiny recipe booklet, in Italian and English. Try any of the recipes to see how diverse the flavor of this balsamic can be: it's a kitchen adventure!

The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is made from the must (juice of pressed grapes) of Trebbiano and Lambrusco vines, which is carefully cooked over a naked flame in an open container. The vinegar is aged and matured in barrels of precious wood, and by means of annual decanting and topping up (for up to 100 years) it assumes a body and flavor unique in its class. This vinegar is dark brown in color, but full of warm light. It is dense, with a fluid and syrup-like consistency. Its fragrance is distinct, complex, sharp, and unmistakably but pleasantly acidic. With its inimitable traditional flavor, it is sweet and sour in perfect proportion. It is full and rich, with a variety of shading and evolving bursts of new expression as the mood or dish changes. Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is made entirely from natural ingredients, and is completely free of preservatives and food coloring.
The Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is entirely natural, dark in color and richly endowed with the flavorsome essences of Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes, as well as with the aromatic woods of the barrels in which they are aged. The extraordinary alchemy of sweet and sour results from the slow maturing of the cooked must, which is then carefully mixed with just the right amount of natural vinegar.
