Jump-starting summer fun, the Spanish Soho Mile is coming by again soon. Spain’s premier fashion and jewelry Event in Soho invites you to Follow the Red Dress!!
The Spain - U.S. Chamber of Commerce presents the seventh edition of the Spanish Soho Mile. This one-of-a-kind yearly event celebrates the best fashion, footwear and jewelry from Spain. New Yorkers, tourists and passersby are invited to experience the finest fashion and jewelry from Spain along with delicious tapas, fabulous wine brought to you by Vibrant Rioja, live entertainment and exclusive sales.

The official 2012 Ambassadors are Joanne Arbuckle, Dean of the School of Art and Design of FIT and Almudena Fernandez, international top model.
With the aim of developing multiple links between the creative sectors of both countries and promoting the modern and fertile range of the contemporary fashion talent of the students attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), the Spain – U.S. Chamber of Commerce has created an exciting fashion contest. The “Follow the Red Dress” contest is a unique event celebrating the best American up-and-coming fashion, entirely inspired by Spain’s art and culture. This contest is exclusively open to the students of FIT. The red color is associated with Spain’s rich history and culture, the event is dressed in red, color historically equivalent to couture, passion and opulence.
Guests will be able to view the garments in the different locations of the Mile.
Visitors will also enter to win amazing prizes!
To start playing, guests have to visit at least four of the participating locations. In the first location visited, the guest will receive a contest flyer featuring the map of the Mile. After enjoying fabulous wine from Vibrant Rioja, delicious tapas, live music and exclusive sales, visitors get their flyer stamped and off they go to the next location! Upon collecting four stamps from four different stores, participants can deposit their forms in any of the red boxes found in each location to enter a drawing for fabulous prizes.
If you collect eight stamps, you will be invited to the VIP After-Partysponsored by Vibrant Rioja at the Mondrian Hotel in SoHo.
