Ventura Limoncello Company Has Another Hit with Orangecello, Highly Recommended by the Champagne Wishes Panel of Whom You Know, Even the ITALIANS!
On the heels of a multi-award winning product, the Ventura Limoncello Company has launched a new winner: Orangecello. Made from the select blood oranges in Ventura County, this sublime liqueur will spark your imagination. Only two years old, the new addition to their product line has a more limited production time, because of the short season for blood oranges. When the bottles are all sold, they're sold out. Until next year. It's sure to be snapped up by cocktail lovers and chefs alike, with it's orange glow and marvelous parfum. I soaked some raisins in it (decadent cookies on the way here), overnight, and added them to an oatmeal cookie recipe I have, just to see how the liqueur would do in the batch. The orangecello adds a hint of orange zest, a tang, and a subtle flavor to the cookie. Those cookies disappeared as fast as you can say Ventura Orangecello! I'm thinking fruitcake next.
Now for the obvious: I asked myself if I could make an amped up version of orangina with this newcomer. Of course! Just use a twist of orange as garnish, to play up it's color, and be sure to have a spare bottle on hand, because it's delicious. Decadent cookies, decadent soda. It's almost too decadent, since Ventura Orangecello stands alone as a digestif , with a happy orange taste on the tongue.
Made in California, from Nona's (that's "grandmother", to you), and on the shelves only as long as the supply lasts for the season.
I was not sure what to think of "Orangecello". I am Italian and Italians drink Limoncello. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised to taste how delicious Ventra's Orangecello Blood Orange Liqueur is. It tastes like a fresh squeezed blood orange. I keep Limoncello in the freezer and so I did the same with the orangecello. The cold drink is very refreshing and is perfect for sipping after a grand Italian meal. This would make a great gift to bring to a dinner party. If you are looking for a different after dinner drink, or if you are trying a liqueur for the first time Ventura Orangecello is a definate must try. It is strong, but a little goes a long way and it is delicious. It really doesn't get much better than this.
We love Ventura Orangecello Blood Orange. Like its sister, Limoncello this wonderful orange liqueur captures the taste of fresh blood oranges and makes a wonderful drink. We admire the 3 generation old Italian family recipe that is used when hand crafting this tasty cordial. You can truly taste the freshness and quality. Although you would swear this is straight from Italy, it is made and distributed from Ventura, California. You know there is nothing better than great liqueur made in the U.S.A. We love this chilled or over ice, as a relaxing sipper after dinner or after work. It is also our new go to when making margaritas, this is what your margaritas have been missing. You can also use Ventura Orangecello Blood Orange in martinis and mojitos. The possibilities are endless. Forget a bottle of wine, bring a fun taste of summer to your next party, bring a bottle of Ventura Orangecello Blood Orange!
Looking to end a great dinner with some excitement? Serve the newly released Orangecello Blood Orange Liqueur by Ventura. They make the most delicious Limoncello I have ever tasted. So, I was not surprised that they introduced Orangecello into the mix. You might not believe that this company is our of California and not Italy. This award winning company does it year after year and continues to collect more and more raising the bar. So I went on their website to see how they recommend drinking the Orangecello. Never would I have imagined using it in a margarita or a mojito. What a stellar idea! It made the margarita far more interesting and mixed it up a bit. I vow to make these for a great summer party and for any guests by the pool this summer!
After trying the Ventura Limoncello and loving it, I knew that the Orangecello Blood Orange Liqueur by Ventura would be a hit at my house. I just recently have been introduced to blood oranges and quickly fell in love with them. The Orangecello was not a disappointment. It had such a rich blood orange flavor, that you forget you are enjoying an adult beverage. I think it's fabulous that they only use the blood oranges from Ventura County in California, where they are based. Since this is a seasonal fruit, I know I'll have to stock up on this wonderful summer time beverage. Because I wanted to try this as an ingredient in various cocktails and was unsure of what, I went to the Ventura Limoncello website to find cocktail recipes. My favorite was the Ventrua Orange Drop with the SoCal Strawberry Fizz coming in close second. I can't wait for my next cookout so I can mix up more Orangecello cocktails. I highly recommend it!
