KEEPING AMERICA ON TOP: WHOM YOU KNOW CELEBRATES AMERICAN STYLE INTELLIGENCE and EXCELLENCE with the Archival Duffel in Carmine Red Canvas Duck by Archival Clothing, Highly Recommended by Whom You Know!
Peachy's Got It In the Bag looks high and low for the best bags everywhere, and in an age where many bags on the market are clunky and junky and made in China bringing tears of sadness to Peachy's eyes, what is there left to do but continue to look for the best and commiserate with our pal Rita (make sure you read Quiet Hero and keep her dad in your prayers) on how we can find more fantastic products made in the USA. To that end, Peachy Deegan is pleased to announce just in time for your July 4th travels, we have found an OUTSTANDING bag that is perfect for your everyday needs and it is, drumroll please, made in Oregon! (You know, where Star Vodka is made! Remember to enter this here) Oooooh Archival Clothing you are a shining star as well and this
duffel is sturdy, simple baggage for your travels and we thought we had some pretty nice ones from top name brands before-no, not even they are not as fine as the quality of this one. Perfectly sized for carrying on airplanes, it's a compact tube with inside and outside pockets on the ends. It will be loved my men and women alike, and kids too. The duffel's bottom is covered in a waterproof, super tough nylon truck tarp to put you at ease even when setting your bag down on grimy subway platforms or dusty roads. The main compartment is accessed through a heavy-duty #10 brass zipper with bootlace zipper pulls, covered by a weather-resistant storm flap. A stout, leather-trimmed 2" wide shoulder strap is comfortable and easily removed (strap hangs 20 to 24" from shoulder), and handles in our British military webbing are securely bar-tacked in place. We suggest even adding a monogram. You would not believe how many pairs of shoes Peachy can fit in this bag....you don't think she travels with just a couple pair, do you?
The duffel is constructed from the highest quality materials: sturdy #8 cotton duck (18 oz), Horween leather, YKK zippers, and thread are of US origin. Webbing and most of our solid brass hardware is sourced from the UK. Edges are bound in waxed cotton tape and all stress points are bar-tacked or riveted. Meets TSA carry-on limits. Whom You Know Highly Recommends the Duffel Bag by Archival Clothing!!!

About Us
About Archival
Clothing
We are staunch
supporters of US-manufacturing (what we make and what we stock) even though it
costs more to produce goods here. For us, it’s just the right thing to do. Our
bags are sewn in Oregon, and we use local partners for our custom trims. When
we started we chose a family-owned, local sewing contractor, a team that had a
long history in manufacturing, skilled crafts people that take great pride in
their work. As we grow, we help them grow. It’s a true partnership, we depend on
them as much as they depend on us. Without them, we wouldn’t be who we are. Our
knitwear and the fabrics themselves are made here in Oregon from US-sourced
cotton. Our wool sweaters are made in Washington state and our jackets are made
in Oregon. Whenever possible we keep production close to home, it’s more
efficient to manage, and it helps us fulfill orders year round. Over time, our
efforts will help stimulate the market, encouraging US manufacturers to expand
their offerings.
We use only the
highest quality materials for our line, because it’s the materials and
workmanship together that create durable products that will last season after
season, with daily use. Our materials are what differentiates us, we use heavy
weight finished cottons (US), Horween leather (US), real brass hardware (US, UK
and mixed origins) and military spec webbing (UK). The price may be a bit
higher to make things of quality here in the US, but we believe in today’s
market you get what you pay for, and if it’s from us it is a best-quality
product that we're proud to call Archival. We stand behind all of our products:
the ones we make and the ones we sell.
How We Got Started
Archival Clothing started
making bags in 2009, inspired by the rich heritage of outdoor products that Lesli
was featuring on the Archival Clothing blog. Against the grain, we decided
to create a line of the best quality products, made here, things that we and
our friends would also want to buy. Products that we felt we missing, or
slipping away from the marketplace.
Our office and
distribution center is out of Eugene, Oregon. The Pacific Northwest is our
backdrop – the climate, local food movement, the friendliness and practical
nature of its people and the incredible landscapes inspire our products. We love
the outdoors, whether it’s a long weekend
spent exploring quiet corners of the region, from the Redwoods to Puget
Sound, from Seal Rock to Malheur County or in the daily movements of a life
lived here.
