Movers and Shakers Queried: They Tell Us What Book They Are Most Looking Forward to Reading this Summer & Where They Like to Dine Outside in Manhattan!

"The book I am most looking forward to re-reading this summer is Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged! O
ne of my favorite places in Manhattan to dine out is '21' because of the history, the feeling of being in a 'special' place, and the creamed spinach!"
-Kim Donaldson
Co-Founder & Managing Director

"The book I am most looking forward to reading this summer is 'The Red Leather Diary,' by Lily Koppel, about the glamour of Manhattan in the 1920's and 1930's. Rescued from a dumpster, literally, the diary of Florence Wolfson is saved from obscurity, and brought back to life. And I can't wait to turn those pages, and see New York through Florence's pages.
My favorite place in Manhattan to dine outside is San Pietro, because it's just off Fifth Avenue, so you can see the flow of people and traffic, but somehow still couched in a European bubble."
-Ellen Christine, President, Ellen Christine Couture, Inc.

"The book I am most looking forward to reading this summer is CONTENT RULES because it will be fun and inspirational to the charitybuzz community who do good and live well. I hope to learn from it and it will help make charitybuzz better.
My favorite place in Manhattan to dine outside is Coffee Shop on Union Square because the food is always good but the people watching is even better plus the atmosphere is causal and not the least bit stuffy."
-Coppy Holzman, President & CEO, charitybuzz

"My favorite outdoor place to dine is Barbetta's garde on
West 46th street right off the theater district on Restaurant Row.
This is one of the oldest family owned cafes in New York over
100 years in operation. The restaurant and the garden are just
beautiful. The food here is superb -- especially the champagne
risotto.
The book I hope to read this summer is one I have already read
and which I am writing --'The After Party' being written by a former gossip columnist
Liz Smith. It's about, yep, life after death and I hope to have it
in some kind of finished form at summer's end. After gossip,
what else is there? Heaven?
The other thing is I hope to finally get a taste of the Peachy cocktail invented
at Swifty's on Lexington bewteen 72-73 street."
-Liz Smith, Epitome of Manhattan, even the Mayor says so:

"I have no plans to read any particular book.
My favorite place in Manhattan to dine outside is Bierreria, at the top of Eataly."
-Seaver T. Wang
President and CEO of Karagosian Financial Services, Inc.
