Miraclesuit is one of our favorite brands without a doubt, and their talents go beyond the bathing suit, as we have already found out with Miraclebody, their outstanding line of clothes which we featured at the most recent Coterie show this month-September 2012 (and others before as well-see here in August 2012!). You know we that when we find one aspect of a brand we like, we want to see all that they are capable of and to that end, we are thrilled to now cover Miraclesuit Shapewear, which is needed more than ever as we are at nearly 200 dinner reviews! All joking aside, this was handpicked as one of the very top brands we saw at the Curve Show, and Peachy Deegan has chosen some of their greatest pieces to test out and explain to you today.
What we really love about Miraclesuit is that unlike most brands in fashion which show no regard for the woman that is not 5'11 105 lbs, Miraclesuit really cares about making real American women look their best no matter what size they are. They are about promoting a healthy look and making each individual look her best, and we applaud that. For the record, Peachy Deegan has never been fat or overweight, but like most people she is interested in looking her best, hence our whole category: Feeling and Looking Your Best. Miraclesuit and Miraclebody have styles that are cut to flatter you, not make you feel like you better not eat dinner. All clothes look better with shapewear, as long as you are not wearing the kind Patsy was wearing when she had an imminent visit from Michael Douglas in Absolutely Fabulous by BBC Home Entertainment-stay tuned for what we're going to say about Episode 3!
Like Eddy and Patsy, we find Miraclesuit Shapewear to be absolutely fabulous. We first tried the Miraclesuit® Shape with an Edge Hi-Waist Brief Style 2705, shown above. We love the edges of the leg as they NEVER RIDE UP because there is a special elastic coating that goes all around your leg. You all know there is nothing worse than talking to someone important at a cocktail party sipping on champagne while your undergarments have given you a wardrobe malfunction and this does not happen with Miraclesuit because they are smart people-we know them!-and they've thought of innovations like this. This is ideal to wear under a dress to a cocktail party, and note-it comes in both black and beige so one of these two colors will go with everything you own. When you wear a garment like this, it gives you a clean line and a silhouette to-die-for but the good news is you don't have to die, you can eat that crabcake in front of you too without your stomach sticking out. Go ahead, eat two crabcakes (but not five.)! We like this 2705 model the best. Most people when they sit down have a bit of a tummy....and here are the stats:

Miraclesuit® Real Smooth® Step-In Waist Cincher Style 2742. The difference between the previous model which Peachy preferred and this model is that this one does not have the panty included and this one does have a small amount of underwire(boning), so this might be a better choice for someone that wears more structured garments. And who knows-Peachy might start wearing more structured garments as we move towards colder days and more galas! This is very comfortable we can assure you. Again, it is available in both black and nude.
