Looking for that great end of summer beach read? Well, you're in luck because we couldn't get enough of Heather Graham's The Unholy. This New York Times bestselling author has proved, yet again, she has what it takes to entertain us. Filled with romance, suspense, murder and the supernatural, Graham spins a fabulous tale. Set in present day Hollywood, we are invited into the world of film making and those who adore it. A wanna-be actresses, a movie mogul's son and some very odd and frightening circumstances, this work contains a number of elements we promise will get you hooked.  Graham's quick wit and dead-on descriptions of people and places will have you holding onto every page. Heather Graham has also just released The Unspoken, and The Unseen, also romantic thrillers. She will soon debut, her newest novel, The Uninvited, and we just can't wait.

In the dog days of summer, I like to get in as much fun, light reading as possible. It is so relaxing sitting by the pool with a good book. In these last days of summer, I've had the chance to read Heather Graham's "The Unholy." I've never read any of her books in the past, so this was a real treat! I found "The Unholy" to be an enjoyable, fast-moving read. Within the first few pages I was so absorbed in it and couldn't put it down! Graham's use of character interplay helped me become engrossed in this murder mystery. The relationship between Eddie and Madison is one of the most interesting aspects of this book. Their abilities to communicate with ghosts and attraction to each other made this book hard to put down! I can't wait to read her other books very soon!

If you're looking for thrills, chills, suspense, along with a dash of romance, look no further than Heather Graham's The Unholy. Within the first 20 pages, the action gets off to a terrifying start, as a young actress is brutally murdered in the gallery of the Black Box Cinema. The gallery is a museum which pays tribute to the Golden Age of Hollywood through a series of film noir scenes that are re-created by mannequins. It is here that the mannequin of an Egyptian priest seemingly comes to life, steps down off of the tableau, and slits young Jenny Henderson's throat as Alistair Archer, son of the owner of the Black Box Cinema looks on helplessly. In the eyes of the police, it is a "locked room" murder - an open and shut case. Alistair and Jenny were the only two people in the theater that evening, besides the security guard, and none of the security videos show anybody else entering the theater or the special effects studio that is connected to the theater via the mannequin-filled gallery. Alistair is charged with the murder of Jenny Henderson and it looks like a no-brainer to the police. But Eddie Archer believes his son when Alistair swears he didn't do it, so he calls in FBI Agent Sean Cameron, who actually used to work for Eddie at the special effects studio, but is now part of the FBI's paranormal forensics team. Agent Cameron and his team, with the help of special effects artist Madison Darvil (who has been assigned by Eddie to act as a guide to the FBI team), delve into the mystery and what they find is as complex and baffling as the underground labyrinth they discover beneath the cemetery adjoining the theater. This spine-tingling thriller never loses steam, and nearly everyone in the novel is a suspect at some point. Loyalties are questioned, alibis examined, and ultimately, a thrilling climax is reached. A spine-tingling page turner from start to finish, The Unholy is a good, no, GREAT, old-fashioned murder mystery, masterfully told by the talented Heather Graham.

If you are looking for a great summer read, look no further than The Unholy by Heather Graham. I found that I had a very hard time putting this book down. What I enjoyed most about this book is that it's a murder/mystery that references the 1930s and 40s. I love to read and watch anything from that time period. I also love to read murder mystery types of books. This was right up my ally. I loved that this book is part of a series called the Krewe of Hunters. I can't wait to read more from this series now. This is the first book I've read by Ms. Graham and I'm excited to read more.
