HBO received 23 Primetime Emmy® Awards, the most of any network for the 11th year in a row, in the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards competition. “Game of Thrones” received 6 awards, tied for the most of any program, while “Game Change” received 5 awards.

HBO’s Emmy® wins this year include:

* 6 Emmys® for “Game of Thrones,” including Outstanding Art Direction for a Single-Camera Series (tie with “Boardwalk Empire”); Outstanding Costumes for a Series; Outstanding Makeup for a Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic); Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series; Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour); and Outstanding Special Visual Effects.

* 5 Emmys® for “Game Change,” including Outstanding Miniseries or Movie; Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie (Julianne Moore); Outstanding Directing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special (Jay Roach); Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Dramatic Special (Danny Strong); and Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special.

* 4 Emmys® for “Boardwalk Empire,” including Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (Tim Van Patten); Outstanding Art Direction for a Single-Camera Series (tie with “Game of Thrones”); Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series; and Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Supporting Role.
