I first tried Yves Rocher a few years ago and fell in love with their products. When I saw my newest Yves Rocher hot products for fall, I was so excited to see what was was in store. The first product I couldn't wait to try was the So Elixir Purple. I love trying perfume. It worked out perfectly for me to be able to use this on a night out with friends. I didn't need much to get a wonderful floral, but woody aroma. I loved that it wasn't over-powering either. It lasted all night as well. My friends and I went to see my favorite local band play at an outside venue and by the end of the night I was sweaty from dancing. I did get many compliments on the So Elixir Purple throughout the night. Even strangers approached me wanting to know the fragrance I was wearing. I couldn't be more happy with this perfume. Since several of my friends even complimented how much they loved it, I made a mental note of what I could get them as a gift.

To create the fragrance, Yves Rocher perfumer Marie Salamagne turned first to Tuberose, which has a rich and multifaceted floral scent, and combined this with Vetiver, which adds smoky, earthy notes. Rounding out the fragrance are Bergamot, Benzoin, and Patchouli, which combine to make this one of the most intriguing, enchanting scents I've ever come across. The Bergamot adds brightness and freshness, the Benzoin contributes sweet and spicy elements, and the Patchouli gives it that deep, dark, woody quality. The combination of all of these elements makes for a wonderfully complex fragrance that you (and those around you!) want to keep smelling again and again! Happily, the fragrance lingers beautifully, so no need to reapply throughout the day. With its complexity and warm, rich layers, So Elixir Purple will definitely be my go-to scent this fall!

Fall watch out - there is a new sent in town! I love all of the compliments I have received. I love the musky amazing smell that this elixir has. I think the best part of this elixir is that it lasts for HOURS. You don't even need to keep reapplying. If you want to smell amazing give this a try. Trust me you won't be able to resist.
