The second edition of London Collections: Men will showcase and celebrate the breadth of British menswear, from the heritage brands and international names through to the brightest emerging talents. This season’s schedule welcomes over 50 menswear designers to show in London from 7th- 9th January 2013.

"All of us involved in the first London Collections: Men were overwhelmed by the response to the first week in June, especially from an international perspective. We have had even more enthusiasm and support for the second season, and we are all looking forward to January being bigger and better than last time." - Dylan Jones, Chair of London Collections: Men and Editor of British GQ
New to show this season are Alexander McQueen and Tom Ford, who have both announced they will present their mainline menswear collections in London. Joining them as a new addition to the schedule is heritage British brand Hardy Amies, who will show their mainline menswear collection in London this January, moving their show from Milan.

Designers for autumn/winter 13 include iconic British brands Dunhill, Margaret Howell and Oliver Spencer; Belstaff and Burberry are to host breakfast presentations and Hackett will return to show their second catwalk collection. Modern day Savile Row stalwarts Richard James and E.Tautz will be showing their ready-to-wear lines, whilst a number of Savile Row tailors will present as part of a collective on Tuesday afternoon.

London’s new establishment designers, Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders, Meadham Kirchhoff and Richard Nicoll will all present highly anticipated men’s collections, alongside menswear’s brightest stars Christopher Shannon, J.W. Anderson and Lou Dalton, who are amongst this season’s Fashion Forward, sponsored by eBay, winners.

London Collections: Men is the essential showcasing platform for emerging menswear talent, through MAN and NEWGEN MEN initiatives, sponsored by TOPMAN. This January, Lee Roach and Shaun Samson will both be showing their first independent catwalk shows with support from NEWGEN MEN, alongside Christopher Raeburn and Sibling on the catwalk, and Matthew Miller and Martine Rose who will show presentations.

The MAN show, a joint initiative between TOPMAN and Fashion East which has been pivotal in promoting menswear in London since 2005, will take place on Monday 7th January, showcasing three of London’s most cutting edge menswear designers to watch. The Fashion East installations, which proved to be a firm highlight at the inaugural London Collections: Men, will show on Tuesday 8th January.

The Hospital Club will once again be the central hub for London Collections: Men, providing a working space for press and buyers and be home to the Designer Galleries, where exhibiting designers will be available for wholesale appointments. From Tuesday 8th January, the Old Sorting Office, WC1, will become an additional BFC Show Space at London Collections: Men.

In addition to catwalk shows, presentations and static installations, a host of events will take place over the three days, including a drinks reception hosted by Tommy Hilfiger, events by Esquire, Mr Porter and Tom Ford, and the GQ dinner, co-hosted by Tinie Tempah. A full events schedule, digital schedule and consumer events programme will be announced over the coming weeks.
