Peachy's Pet Pals: Sam Colon-Lugo

Sam tells Peachy: One day, my human got a phone call from her friend who lived on W. 57th St. Her friend had been giving me water all day long, because I was tied to a tree outside her building for hours and hours. I never knew why, but somebody left me there. It was really scary, so when my human showed up and took me home, I was really relieved. But boy, when we got home, there were more dogs! Little yappy ones, with curly hair. Not like the dogs I came from at all. I was still scared, but my human was calm, and there were lots of cookies.
My life has been full of wonderful people, with new friends all the time. It's been years and years now, adventures, travel, and cookies. The little yappy dogs turned out to be buddies, but they're all gone now. It's just me and my human. Me, I like to sleep, and so my human has lots of beds for me, with lots of blankets I can hide under. Cookies, and new toys, and lots of friends. Life is good.
