Terrific Takeout: Beet Restaurant

The Go-Go's may have The Beat but Peachy Deegan has got The Beet!

It is brand-spanking new on the Upper East side, and they are dedicated to providing sustainable and organic produce whenever possible. Led by Daryl the owner from Australia, they do put beets on their burgers since that is what they do over there...and we have expanded our hamburger horizons and find the beet with the meat quite satisfactory!

Above you see "Beet" House Burger which is 8oz of beef, smoked onions, beet chips, pickled garnish, and white cheddar on a cibatta roll. Open wide!

The Haricot Vert fries were Peachy's favorite because she has never had them before, she loves green beans, and the sauce was fantastic too!

And when it came to the salad, Grilled Portabella Mushroom was simply the way to go! Grilled Marinated Portabella mushroom, mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, arugula danced in a terrific citrus vinaigrette. And without a doubt, the chocolate milkshake was the cherry on top of the order-you must have one! Beet is Terrific Takeout!
