The Spice Lab Italian White Truffle Sea Salt is such an amazing product. This is not only delicious but fantastic! I think it's wonderful to sprinkle over cheese, salads, or even vegetables. I think they add that extra touch of gourmet. It makes your food taste professional. I think it's a nice touch to put on your food without having to go over the edge. Keep it simple but yet unique. This sea salt packs a lot of punch. You don't need much to make a statement.
As soon as I opened up the package I could smell the wonderful aroma of truffle. This has to be one of my favorite things to use to help flavor my food. After trying the Italian Black Truffle Sea Salt on a turkey burger, I had to try this one. It was just as wonderful. My next cooking project is to grill up a steak seasoned with the wonderful Italian White Truffle Sea Salt. Next time my friends and I decide to grill out, I'm definitely bringing this with me to help make our grilling that much better. The Company

For Christmas 2009, technology entrepreneur Brett Cramer wanted to share his new-found fascination with gourmet sea salts with his family and friends. Enjoying woodworking as well as being an avid gourmet cook, he handcrafted a wooden base out of scrap lumber to hold test tubes filled with exotic sea salts from around the world. Throughout 2010, the business grew as the company added an array of smoked sea salts and salt collections and became a direct importer. Ending their dot.com business ownership in January 2011, Brett and his wife Jennifer along with a growing staff now devote their energies full time to building The Spice Lab and its retail distribution.

White Truffle Salt

Roasted Potatoes with Truffle Salt
1.5 to 2 lbs red potatoes cut into wedges
1 medium-sized sweet onion cut into small wedges
Olive oil
Italian truffle salt
Freshly ground pepper
Heat oven to 375 degrees
Put potato and onion wedges in zip lock bag. Drizzle with olive oil, seal and toss in bag to thoroughly coat vegetables. Remove from bag and place in single layer on roasting pan or baking sheet. Generously season with Italian Truffle Salt and freshly ground pepper.
Roast for about 30 to 40 minutes, turning potatoes occasionally until are nicely browned and fork tender.
