Whom You Know Is Pleased to Kick Off Our Coverage of CookieZen- Red Wine Pairing Box Recommended by Whom You Know!

Two of my favorite things in the world are wine and cookies. Apparently, I am not alone! The folks at CookieZen must feel the same way, since they have come out with Cookies & Corks. These cookies are made to be paired with your favorite wines! The first box I tried contained cookies for red wine pairings. The box included Shortbread, White Cheddar Rosemary, and Espresso Chocolate - Peanut Butter. All three go well with a Pinot Noir or Cabernet Sauvignon. I tasted mine with a glass of Pinot Noir, and the result was fantastic! These flavors really do play off the wine perfectly in your mouth. All three cookies were excellent, but I have to say I think my favorite was the Espresso Chocolate - Peanut Butter!

I love having something to pair with wine. Reds are my favorites and sometimes I just want a dessert to pair with my wine instead of a meal, especially if it's a dry red. I loved each of the cookies. I was unsure of the White Cheddar Rosemary at first, but it was so good. My favorite pairing was the Espresso Chocolate Peanut Butter with a nice glass of Merlot.
