2013 Per Annum City Diaries: Put a City in Your Pocket The Google before Google-Planners/City Guides for Over 30 Years Highly Recommended by the Organized Peachy Panel of Whom You Know
In order to keep an organized daily life it is necessary that I keep a planner with me at all times. All of my appointments, grocery lists, etc. are jotted down in my planner because unfortunately, I don't have the best memory. This Manhattan Diary will be absolutely perfect for 2013! It even has subway and bus maps in the back of the book! It also has a directory for many things in Manhattan such as restaurants and stores! I can't wait to start using my diary! It is going to make my life so much easier!
Long ago, in graduate school in Paris , we all had our little copies of "Plan de Paris" in our pockets. That one little item got us through subways, tourist traps, museum schedules, and rock 'n roll concerts. In NYC, we don't have one of those handy little guides. But we do have the Manhattan Diary, which is just as good, with maps, lists of museums, even rock 'n roll venues! The maps in this handy little cover the city and its surrounds, for public transport, or a walking tour. Find restaurants, their phone numbers, and establishments listed according to their specialty. Under apothecaries, you can find my favorite, Bigelow's, or a more esoteric addition, Aedes de Venustus. (Peachy likes Clydes!)
As a must for everyone visiting NYC, get it for your friends as an advance gift, and make their Manhattan bound visit easier. It'll make things so much easier for you, too. Just point to page whichever, and send them forth!
I've been to Manhattan only twice in the past to visit. If I didn't have a "tour guide" (my cousin), I would've been completely lost. I would love to go again in the future and know my cousin would be happy to show me around, but what would happen if for some reason he couldn't? Look no further than the 2013 Manhattan Diary. It's sleek and small in size so it would fit perfectly into a small purse or a pocket. It is loaded with Manhattan specific information that any tourist would need. What I think I would need the most and what I found most helpful were the street and transit maps to help me navigate my way around Manhattan! This is a must for anyone who is traveling to Manhattan!
Keeping your life organized can now be a cinch, thanks to the Manhattan Diary from Per Annum. This sleek, handy diary not only contains a weekly calendar spread (with plenty of space to write in appointments!), but also a wealth of other information that makes living in NYC as simple as possible. The creators of the diary have included just about anything a New Yorker could need, and a whole lot more! There are listings for restaurants, hospitals, movie theaters and more, including conversion charts and lists of vintage wines. Additionally, there are full color street and transit maps, including maps for the subway, LIRR, Metro-North, and New Jersey Transit. It's simply a must-have for any New Yorker. And the best part? It's lightweight and incredibly compact, so it will fit in just about any handbag or inside pocket of a jacket. And, unlike a smartphone or other wireless device, there's no chance of it losing service or the battery running out! The diary comes in a variety of colors (mine is navy), and is also available for L.A., San Francisco, Chicago, and Boston.
