Despite its cheesy appearance, this hardworking cheese keeper is sure to do a "Gouda" job of keeping your favorite dairy product fresher, for longer and we are pleased with the results. Simply place the white, earthenware keeper along with any hard or soft cheese in an airtight container (including plastic wrap). The food-safe clay has been fired at low temperatures, which gives it the ability to regulate the moisture around it, keeping your Romano from drying out or your Cheddar from getting mushy.
