Brave the Cold & Top it Off With Ellen Christine Couture Millinery's Bespoke Warm-As-Toast Edwardian Skating Hat!

Of course, we love fascinators.
However, fascinators are not so warm for January in Manhattan...and if she wore them in the elements, Peachy Deegan would likely get frostbite!
Not only warm, but FASHIONABLE WARM, which is key.
Once upon a time it was fall in Manhattan, and Peachy felt since it was getting nippy it was time to develop a style that worked for both smart casual and cocktail party arrival in the cold without looking overtly sporty. Peachy did not want to arrive with a ski hat or some plain knitted hat off the rack. Oh horrors-hats of the rack. They never fit just right. This one was made exactly for Peachy and though the expression of fits like a glove goes with another body part, this hat fits like a glove so to speak.
Ellen tells us:
Inspired by an Edwardian (Think early Downton) skating hat, the pieces of this warm -as-toast winter hat are fitted into sections, that encircle the head, and add a whimsical touch with the ear flaps. The fabrication on this is cotton velour, cut as corduroy, with a faux fur astrakhan trim.
Oooh look at how nicely finished the inside is, complete with her signature tag.
And since we are thinking early Downton, of course you know who's also wearing this hat inside on Sunday nights.
It nicely turns out a bow...
...and is highly recommended by Whom You Know!
