Here's Season Three Episode One which you ought to start with:

then Episode Two:

then Episode Three:

then Episode Four:

then Episode Five:

and Episode Six:

We are besides ourselves that this is the last Episode of Season 3!  Peachy is coming up with ideas to combat withdrawal symptoms that will show up soon.  Do not miss Maggie Smith featured on 60 minutes this week!

SPOILER ALERT!

A trip to Duneagle (not to be confused with the castle for Eagles in Chestnut Hill which Lady Peachy is quite fond of!) kicks off this episode with the Flinchers, their kissing cousins with nicknames of the sea including Lobster, Shark and Shrimpie-we might just eat them up.  High drama is in order once again as poor Rose is picked on by her horrid spiky mother Susan, nag that she is, and a visit from the Crawleys brings a more temperate atmosphere.  However, hunting deer in Scotland is quite a contrast from shooting pheasants at Downton...and we like it a bit better since they are wearing those Sherlock Holmes-style stunners on their heads.  Ellen what do you think?  Would we look good in one in maybe dark pink?  Regardless, the best part is the bagpipers playing at dinner...but bagpipers at 8am?  Maybe not so much.  And last but not least on the trip?  O'Brien has met her match!

Back at Downton Abbey, no one is missing a trick from Dr. Clarkson hitting on Isobel to the new maid Edna after Branson and most surprisingly, Mrs. Patmore gets a new admirer.  We defy anyone not to be comprehensively captivated by every element of thrilling intrigue that is at its best in the Season Finale of Season Three.  And don't forget Lady Edith's single heart-she's being told now: "Edith, my basic fact is that I'm in love with you." Who could be saying that!?!?  And who is using SQUIRE as a verb, as in I'd like to squire you...!!!!

The audience continues to be in love with Lady Mary and Cousin Matthew who just ooze with true love..."Just be as nice as you are," he tells her.  And later he declares: "I feel like I've swallowed a box of fireworks!"
A favorite scene is with Carson and Baby Sybil-imagine, Carson doing baby talk!

Lots of tough decisions to be made-Eat with the downstairs people, or eat alone?  Go to Duneagle with the family or stay home due to pregnancy?  Should Carson let them go to the fair or not?

In the end he does and it is simply delightful from the Merry-Go-Round to the Tug of War!

And the Gillies' Ball (the Dowager went to the one at Balmoral in 1860!) at Shrimpie's estate?  The best drama of all!  "They do say there's a wild man inside all of us," says Robert to which Violet replies: "If he only would stay inside."
It winds up with a stunner that may not leave you in the best mood, but we look forward to Season 4 with the youngest baby Crawley and the most young-at-heart, Maggie Smith as the Dowager Countess!!!
