World Trade Center Spire Installation Captured on Webcam EarthCam Releases New Time-Lapse of the Tallest Building in the Western Hemisphere
WHAT: One World Trade Center became the 3rd tallest building in the world and EarthCam's construction cameras documented the historic moment in HD live video and megapixel images. The first part of the video shows the last 12 months of construction, originally captured in 35,000 images, hand-edited by EarthCam's Creative Team into a 45-second time-lapse movie.
The second part shows the 30-minute crane operation, a combination of the original lift on May 2ndand the installation this morning, hand-edited and sped up 98% for a 40-second animation.
