Bake-Sense Makes Sense All Natural Flax Roll Ups by Damascus Bakeries Highly Recommended by Whom You Know

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. That's why I am always looking for the healthiest, energy-packed foods to start off my morning. This morning I was really in the mood for a breakfast burrito. Thanks to Damascus Bakery, I had the perfect way to wrap it up! After cooking up some eggs, grilled chicken, herbs, spices and tomatoes, I filled up one of their Bake-Sense Makes Sense All Natural Flax Roll-Ups. It was really a delicious way to hold together my breakfast! Not to mention, these Roll-Ups are packed with fiber and Omega 3's, and at only 80 calories! With a breakfast like that, I know the rest of my day is going to be good!
I made pizzas with my Flax Bake Sense Roll-ups. This was a really simple and delicious meal! I put the Flax Bake Sense Roll-ups on a cookie sheet, added marinara sauce, some cheese and pepperoni. It took only 15 minutes in the oven to have a wonderful pizza-bread dinner. I think I overloaded it with just a little too much cheese, so the roll-up ended up a tad bit flimsy. I’m sure this can be easily corrected next time. The Flax bake sense roll-ups are very versatile. I would recommend trying this idea in different ‘flat bread’ type concoctions – sun-dried tomato & artichoke hearts, or just with some simple olive oil, garlic and sea salt heated up in the oven. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these suggestions because the Flax Bake-Sense Roll-up is just a star, overall.
Damascus Bake-Sense Makes Sense, as they say on the wrapper of this ingenious flatbread. It's almost fluffy, in its perfection, and as a crepe, it works brilliantly. But should you happen to have two clamoring children at your feet, the pieces of Bake Sense are conveniently split into to sections, so both of the hungry horde will be appeases by sharing equal parts. No need to measure that peanut butter and jelly sandwich now, it's pre-marked for you. The serving of this bread is ingenious, in its presentation, and if you heat if just a touch, it puffs up and melts in your mouth. Use it for your roll-ups to be sure, as the heart healthy flax ingredient should be an intrinsic part of everyone's diet by now. The flax is already in there, so if you're making a vegetable feast, or grilled chicken, it's the perfect combination for that essential grain. Damascus brings the Middle East to America via bread. What better way to incorporate an element of the exotic into your meals?
If you're looking for a healthier alternative to bread that actually tastes great, too, look no further than Damascus Bakery! Their Bake-Sense Makes Sense All Natural Flax Roll-Ups provide a fantastic way to trim calories without sacrificing a bit of taste! You can easily turn your favorite sandwich into a roll-up, or use them in a variety of other ways. My favorite quick and easy dish was a guiltless grilled cheese with a Mexican flare. I put a thin layer of a low-fat blend of Mexican cheeses between two halves of the roll-up, fried it in a little bit of low-fat butter alternative, melted a little bit more cheese on top, and served it with salsa! It took me under 10 minutes to prepare and tasted great - plus, I had absolutely zero guilt when I was done! I'm definitely going to be keeping these tasty treats in stock in my kitchen from now on!

The Bake-Sense Roll-Ups were created by Damascus Bakeries in Brooklyn. The bakery is owned and operated by third-generation bakers David and Edward Mafoud. The two brothers, whose maternal grandfather started the bakery in 1930, believe that bread is a labor of love. And that love goes into each package of their pita, lahvash, panini and roll-ups.

The Mafoud's also believe in the credo “Keeping well beats getting well,” which was the inspiration for the Bake Sense Roll-Ups. The flatbreads contain heart-healthy fibers, proteins and nutrients while also being low incalories and carbs. The Bake Sense Roll-Ups were designed to naturally help promote weight management and well being.

But health aside, the roll-ups are pliable and delectable. For instance, the Garden and Grain Roll Ups have ingredients that read like the offering at a farmers market stand. The flatbreads contain red and green bell peppers, onion, spinach and sunflower seeds – which makes them as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate.
