Damascus Bakery's Bake-sense Makes Sense All Natural Garden and Grains Roll Ups Highly Recommended by Whom You Know

When I get home from work, I am usually starving and searching around my house for the perfect snack to hold me over until dinner. With so many unhealthy options like potato chips and other fried snacks, it's easy to cheat on a healthy diet. Fortunately, there are ways to snack healthy, so I can satisfy my hunger quickly without feeling guilty! My new favorite snack actually comes from Damascus Bakery's Bake-Sense Makes Sense All Natural Garden & Grains Roll-Ups. These flat breads are low in calories and fat, high in fiber, taste great, and have chia and flax baked in for Omega 3's and other healthy nutrients. What I like to do is slice them up into small triangles, put them on a baking sheet, drizzle with a bit of olive oil, and sprinkle them with salt, pepper and my favorite herbs and spices. Then, I toss them a few times with my hands and bake them in the oven until they are crispy. Once I start eating them, it is hard to stop, but thankfully I don't have to feel so bad about eating them all! They are better than any potato chip, both for taste and nutrition!
The Garden & Grains Bake Sense Roll-ups make perfect… soft taco shells! I had some leftover hamburger from my Memorial Day barbecue, but didn’t feel like having burgers again.
I decided to make some alternative tacos out of it, with the Garden & Grains roll-up instead of tortillas. They come “perforated” so they were easy to tear into squares that were just about the same size as small corn tortillas, but WAY tastier. I warmed the roll-ups in a skillet for a few minutes before adding my taco fixings: beef, corn, fresh salsa, avocado and sour cream. They were really great! The other nice thing was they were a lot sturdier than traditional soft taco tortillas, so the tacos didn’t fall apart, and they didn’t get your hands all messy like often happens with soft tacos. I would definitely recommend trying the Damascus Bakeries Garden & Grains Bake Sense Roll-ups for your next taco night.
I have a new favorite bread, and it's from Damascus. They've done something wonderful with herbs and grains, and made it into a bread that goes with everything. It's the same idea as making a sandwich, but it's already in there! Damascus has been doing their bread thing for generations, and have added to the healthy well-being of millions with something as basic, as necessary as bread. Even if you're on a low-carb diet, one of these Bake-Sense flatbreads is only 11 grams of carbohydrates, so one of these every once in a while may just help you stick to that bikini mission you're on.   The flavor is really delightful, with a savory edge to the bread. Grill some chicken, lather it with a sauté Mexican mix of vegetables, and you've made a taco! There are ways to provide healthy inroads to nutrition, and Damascus is truly in the vanguard with their baking. Bakes Sense Makes Sense comes perforated, so if you're feeling guilty, just eat a half!
The road to great-tasting, low-carb bread alternatives is paved with good intentions...but somewhere along the way, something usually goes awry. Most of the "healthy" bread products I've tried have been lacking just a little something - namely, taste! Not so with Damascus Bakery! They have figured out the secret to making great-tasting, low carb bread products that are also packed with other good things like protein, fiber, and Omega 3's! I recently tried their Bake Sense Makes Sense All Natural Garden and Grains Roll Ups, and was very pleasantly surprised by just how terrific they were! Each serving contains only 70 calories and 7 net carbs, yet is just as satisfying as a piece of bread! I filled my roll-up with homemade chicken salad, and the result was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. The roll-up was tasty and satisfying, and because it was so thin, I was able to load it up with more chicken salad than I'd be able to fit in a normal sandwich - bonus! I'm definitely going to be keeping plenty of these roll-ups on hand going forward!

For a nation struggling with obesity, Damascus Bakeries' delicious new Bake-Sense All Natural Roll-Ups are the perfect vehicle for healthy lunches and dinners. The four types of ultra thinflatbreads are fortified with essential fibers, proteins and nutrients, and they also have a portion-sense size, so consumers know how many calories and carbs they're eating.

Children, teens and adults will enjoy eating their favorite heart-healthy ingredients inside the all natural and flavorful wraps, for lunch or dinner. The roll-ups come in four types: Garden and Grains, Flax, Whole Wheat andPlain. And unlike many other flatbreads, the Bake Sense Roll-Ups are supple and fold easily over grilled meats, spreads and vegetables or deli meats and cheeses – while offering health benefits from chia and flax seeds. They also are a delicious base for pizza, or can be cut into wedges and quickly baked to make chips for creamy hummus or spicy guacamole.

The Bake-Sense Roll-Ups were created by Damascus Bakeries in Brooklyn. The bakery is owned and operated by third-generation bakers David and Edward Mafoud. The two brothers, whose maternal grandfather started the bakery in 1930, believe that bread is a labor of love. And that love goes into each package of their pita, lahvash, panini and roll-ups.

The Mafoud's also believe in the credo “Keeping well beats getting well,” which was the inspiration for the Bake Sense Roll-Ups. The flatbreads contain heart-healthy fibers, proteins and nutrients while also being low incalories and carbs. The Bake Sense Roll-Ups were designed to naturally help promote weight management and well being.

But health aside, the roll-ups are pliable and delectable. For instance, the Garden and Grain Roll Ups have ingredients that read like the offering at a farmers market stand. The flatbreads contain red and green bell peppers, onion, spinach and sunflower seeds – which makes them as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate.
