Lenovo announces Stoneware webNetwork Powered by ThinkServer ® Validated, cost effective “unified cloud” solution available in North America
Lenovo(HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) today announced that Stoneware webNetwork Powered by ThinkServer®is available in North America directly through Lenovo and Lenovo business partners. This solution features Stoneware’s webNetwork software platform bundled with thirty end-user software licenses for no additional charge. Lenovo has tested and validated webNetwork to support up to 1,500 users when installed on a ThinkServer®RD330.
The Stoneware webNetwork unified cloud platform enables bring-your-own-device (BYOD) initiatives that simplify IT and reduce technology acquisition costs. webNetwork delivers files, applications and reports from resources that reside in a customer’s private data center, the public cloud, or on a local device, through a browser with a single password. webNetwork supports a wide variety of end-user computing devices including PCs, tablets and smartphones.
