Summer is here! Who wants to slave over a hot stove? Not us. We bet you don't either, so we've been looking for the latest and greatest in takeout, and have some new good news for Upper East siders. Conveniently located on 87th and Lexington right near the subway for you that want to pick up your dinner is the amazing Bocado Cafe! For an entree, we tried the tantalizing Pan Seared Alaskan Salmon, which was grilled to perfection and joined by g
rilled asparagus and dill champagne sauce, and grilled squash.

The Bocado Avocado is an absolute must as an appetizer. Look at all those colors in there screaming nutrition politely. A delightful grilled half avocado is filled with roasted corn, arugula, tomatoes, cilantro and lime aioli. Just brilliant.

As a salad, we selected the Fruta Mista, which was a prime example of how fruits and vegetables can play together nicely, especially when a lovely mozzarella comes to the party. Organic baby greens, fresh strawberries, mango, mozzarella and balsamic vinaigrette will cool you down in this heat.
