Suan's Scotch Bonnet Pepper Jelly Recommended by Whom You Know!

I always used to think that jelly was only made from sweet fruits. I was very wrong about that! Now I have found that one of my favorite jellies is actually made from peppers! Suan's Scotch Bonnet Pepper Jelly blends sweet and spicy in a truly unique way. After trying on taste, you will want to spread it all over everything! I spread some over some butter biscuits for a delicious sweet and spicy snack. It also tastes great over some vanilla ice cream. You have to try it!
The life of a graduate student leads you down many an interesting path. While in England doing research for my thesis, I was always amazed by the sandwiches that they created from nothing. A "cheese and pickle" should have been far from my American sensibilities but for the English and their amusing additions to pub fare. To recreate it here, with my handy toaster oven, may not be authentic, but it works! Melted cheese, topped with Suan's "Pepper Jelly" is a great lunch, or snack: use your best bread, some colby, and a dollop of the jelly after the cheese has been melted. There is always a faint hint of Suan's little "Scotch Bonnet" pepper in her condiments, but she has ingeniously tamed the heat and left the flavor. Use this jelly as a side for meat, as well, for a dash of interesting flavor.
If you've never tried a pepper jelly, a fabulous place to start would be with Susan's Scotch Bonnet Pepper Jelly. The signature product of Suan's Foods (which features the delicious condiments of Suan Grant), this jelly is sweet, with a distinctive spicy kick provided by the Scotch Bonnet pepper. A very versatile product, it can be used in a variety of ways, from creating glazes to adding heat to desserts, to being used in sandwiches - and that's just the tip of the iceberg! I used it to top cream cheese on crackers, and I found the flavor combination absolutely outstanding! The sweet/spicy jelly provided an interesting contrast to the cream cheese, and the crispy crackers provided the perfect contrast in texture - a greatly satisfying snack! I'm looking forward to using it in many different ways this summer - it will definitely be a great addition to my refrigerator. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something unique, tasty, and exciting to liven up their menus!
If you are looking for a taste of the islands look no further than Suan's Scotch Bonnet Pepper Jelly. This great product can be used in entrees, as a condiment or even on dessert if you dare. The sweet but spicy taste of the scotch bonnet pepper comes through and adds a special kick to your meal. I added Suan's Scotch Bonnet Pepper Jelly to my chicken stir fry and I was pleasantly surprised. The unique flavor of the scotch bonnet pepper was a welcome addition to this mild dish. It added a nice exotic flavor and a bit of heat. Try spicing up your life with Suan's Scotch Bonnet Pepper Jelly.
There is no mystery as to why this is Suan’s signature product. This jelly is sweet with a kick and is the best pepper jelly I’ve ever had. It comes as no surprise that this Jelly was the recipient of the Dallas Gourmet Market Gold Award in 2011. I tried Suan’s Scotch Bonnet Pepper Jelly on top of Brie with some crackers, I served it at a dinner party and it was a huge success. Everyone was raving about the pepper jelly saying that it gives just the right amount of kick. You can also serve the pepper Jelly with other types of cheese such as Gruyere. It is also good on some fruits such as pears or apples. I highly recommend Suan’s scotch bonnet pepper jelly for a perfect pepper jelly with the perfect buzz at the end.
