Suan's Scotch Bonnet Pineapple Cinnamon Jam Recommended by Whom You Know
New York is experiencing a heat wave, and what better way to beat the heat than with some ice cream! I decided to make my own - chocolate with chocolate chips and a fudge ripple. It was quite tasty, but it needed a topping. I tried a dollop of Suan's Scotch Bonnet Pineapple Cinnamon Jam, and my taste buds couldn't thank me enough! The homemade ice cream combined with juicy pineapple and cinnamon made for the perfect sweet treat! I was so pleasantly surprised with how well all the flavors came together. Next time, I will have to try it on vanilla!
What makes pineapple cinnamon jam even more delicious? The addition of Scotch Bonnet pepper! And thanks to Suan's Foods, we now have Suan's Scotch Bonnet Pineapple Cinnamon Jam to tickle our tastebuds! The addition of the spicy pepper kicks this jam up a notch to make it simply irresistible. The combination of flavors is outstanding, and the jam provides a quick and easy way to liven up many dishes. I spread it over my normal morning toast and was amazed at how delicious it was! It would also be great on scones, muffins, pound cake, and more! Definitely a welcome addition to my pantry!
Suan has added her particular brand of sweet/hot to my life, and I'm so happy to have made her acquaintance. The Pineapple Cinnamon Jam is a treat that will make you dive into your recipe books and investigate how to use this wonderful new condiment. For fruit lovers, Bananas Foster has always been one of my favorites. My Mother made it with the requisite brandy, and the flame was a thrilling touch, but in the heat of summer, perhaps a toned down version is in order. Melt the sugar in the butter, and caramelize it a bit, then add the bananas, lightly browning them on both sides. Gently remove the bananas, and plate. Add some of the Scotch Bonnet Pineapple Cinnamon Jam to the sauce, heat, and serve over the bananas. The warmth releases the aroma and flavor of the cinnamon, and the pineapple is the happy match for the banana. Tropical dessert, in one easy step.
I love pineapple so anytime I can try something with pineapple I get excited. That being said many pineapple products are the same but not Suan's Scotch Bonnet Pineapple Cinnamon Jam. This is just great, sweet and delicious. Almost like a pineapple upside down cake, only better. This would be great paired with lamb or pork, and of course ice cream. I mixed it in plain yogurt and it was perfect, taking a boring yogurt into something great. The yummy possibilities are endless.
The possibilities are infinite with this jam. Much like the mango lemon fruit butter I thoroughly enjoy this jam, especially because I have a big sweet tooth. This jam can be used to glaze ham, pork loin or lamb. It is also an ideal pair with mashed sweet potatoes for a side dish. Suan’s scotch bonnet pineapple cinnamon jam is a great topping on any type of ice cream (my kids like it best on plain vanilla ice cream.) This jam is so fresh that is feels like your eating a pineapple with a little bit of cinnamon sprinkled on top of it. Much like the mango lemon fruit butter I recommend this jam to anyone with a killer sweet tooth, like myself!
