Vermont Raw Nut Butter's Cashew Butter Highly Recommended by Whom You Know!

My son loves peanut butter and by loves I mean he will eat it in any way, shape or form! I was eager to give him something different yet healthy, to try. Enter Vermont Raw Nut Butter's stone ground, organic, raw cashew butter! What I love most about this product is that it is one I can feel really good about giving my child. Cashew butter in general is a wise choice as it is high in protein, unsaturated fats, and B vitamins! One afternoon when my son asked for a snack, I got out his beloved Angry Bird graham crackers and made some delicious graham cracker sandwiches filled with VRNB's organic raw cashew butter. It was love at first sight...or should I say, taste?! We had a winning (and healthy) new snack option! Another plus? VRNB's organic, raw cashew butter is hand-crafted in small batches using certified organic ingredients which are processed through a low temperature, stone ground technique. It's this technique that preserves the nutrients! Vermont Raw Nut Butter's organic raw cashew butter is 100% vegan, gluten-free and free from pesticides! This is a new staple in our pantry!
This organic raw cashew butter is fantastic! I went out on a limb to find a unique recipe for this one and ended up with…taco salad. I’m NOT joking, and it was absolutely amazing! Add a couple spoonfuls of this cashew butter into your regular taco-meat recipe in the meat-prep stage, along with your seasonings. It adds texture and sweetness which contrasts deliciously against the spiciness of the taco seasoning. This was a completely unexpected treat, and will now be a standard addition to all my taco recipes. This raw organic cashew butter is delicious on its own, but I highly recommend getting creative with it and adding it to some of your favorite dishes when you’re looking to add some nutty sweetness.
In Peru, they make their sauces with peanut butter. In Thailand, they use nuts in sauces, beverages, condiments. In the rest of the world, nuts and seeds (and grains) are part of daily recipes, so why not in America? Maybe because it's so exotic. Use ricotta to make an "Alfredo" sauce for pasta, add some cashew butter for richness, and flavor. Enjoy. That doesn't seem so difficult, right? As a sauce for vegetables, it's always better to use the raw state of nut butter, because the body absorbs all of the vitamins, minerals and protein much more readily. But if you use it in cooking, nut butters provide the richness of butter without the same level of fat, and the smooth creamy texture is heaven. Adapt any of your favorite recipes, experiment, and add goodness to your diet. It will make such a difference.
If you are like me than you are always searching for new organic products. I was delighted to be introduced to Vermont Raw Nut Butter. This awesome line of nut butter comes in many varieties and has no trans fat added. I loved the Organic Raw Cashew butter. It had a delightful rich taste. I tried some in vanilla yogurt and it was really good.
