Peachy is a little speed demon in many ways and most frequently, on the keyboard. There is just so much to do in Manhattan and at Whom You Know and we only have 24 hours in a day. No one in Manhattan has a lot of patience. Time is of the essence and time waits for no one; we want a computer that goes from zero to 100 in 0.5 seconds and Lenovo always continues to impress us. Just when we think we are using the quickest model around, they come out with another one. And not only is it quicker but also it is lighter. Older USB docking video streaming requires encoding and therefore processing time from the CPU creating lag and performance degradation. The chart above shows CPU usage (lower is better), with video playback on external screen comparing a system at idle with the OneLink Dock and the Lenovo USB 3.0 dock. The OneLink is almost identical to the system at idle and nearly 70% more efficient than the older USB 3.0 dock technology.
