Checking out roof of The Met is high on our list every year.  We absolutely love what they do and you cannot beat the views there and it is coupled nicely with two bars as well.  Why anyone would want to go to a plain bar during the summer in Manhattan as opposed to sipping Prosecco (no Champagne-we believe we sipped Champagne with Paulina and Ed in past summers) watching the  sunset here is beyond us.  The exhibit this year is unique and highly imaginative.  This year we told you about the exhibit in April:
