Sarabella's Sassy Raspberry Chutney Is What Your Thanksgiving Table Needs Says Whom You Know!
A plate of cheese and crackers is one of my favorite snacks. I often have some to tide me over until dinner. Now I have found a way to make my little snack even more delicious! I added a bit of Sarabella's Sassy Raspberry Chutney to the plate, and now I am completely blown away! The chutney is all natural and is made with raspberries, garlic, pineapple, and horseradish. These flavors are the perfect complement to my favorite cheese!
I’ve tried Sarabella’s Sassy Raspberry Chutney on a variety of things. However, my favorite would be drizzled – or in my case, HEAPED – onto some goat cheese to eat with crackers. On its own, you definitely taste the horseradish base. It’s zesty and flavorful and delicious. Yet somehow, the taste is completely transformed when you pair it with cheese. It becomes a perfectly sweet highlight to the creaminess of the cheese. You should also try it on leftover pancakes for a sweet and savory afternoon snack! Pretty soon, you’ll be putting it on everything you eat!
Who in their right mind would refuse trying something called "Sassy Raspberry Chutney"?! After much debate, I decided to treat myself to a warm, buttery croissant, something I never do. After procuring said croissant, I headed home knowing what was waiting to be paired up with this doughy delight. I spooned out a nice amount of Sarabella's Sassy Raspberry Chutney and breaking off small pieces of the croissant, dipped them into the chutney one by one. It was delicious! I didn't get much of a raspberry scent when simply smelling the chutney in the jar, but upon tasting the chutney, the "Sassy Raspberry" couldn't be missed. What a way to start the morning! I highly recommend getting yourself some of this delectable chutney which hails from Jackson, MS. You won't regret it, y'all!
Sarabella's Sassy Raspberry Chutney comes off at first sight as a jam on steroids. The fruitiness of the raspberries takes top billing in the flavor race, but the garlic, pineapples, and horseradish take your taste buds to the next level. I followed Sarabella's advice and poured the sauce over cream cheese for a ready-made dip. Cream cheese is the perfect companion and the dip was excellent with both chips and crackers. Brie cheese would also be a great base for such a treat. Sarabella's sauces are a great, easy, accent to any food traditionally topped with either mustard or horseradish, and a wonderful new idea for dips and cheeses.
Raspberry, a summer flavor not often found in chutneys and sauces, but beloved by all chefs for a finishing touch on desserts is now available from Sarabella in their "Sassy Rasberry Chutney". Use it with your appetizers, your main courses, whether they be cheeses, or meats. Duck would be excellent with this chutney/sauce. Add it as an ingredient to your basting , or grilling. Use it slathered on a brick of goat cheese as an appetizer. The sweet edgy flavor will delight, and not be too much of a bite for your guests. My favorite idea was to drizzle it over an ice cream sundae for a grown up version of a childhood staple. Rasberry and chocolate are naturally compatible, and this sauce will be a sophisticated delight for mousse, truffles and anywhere chocolate can be found as a dessert.
