A Tribute to the Music of Connie Francis and Neil Sedaka!
Jenna is thrilled to be bringing this tribute to two of the biggest legends in the history of popular music to the famed Birdland jazz club! After debuting the show to rave reviews at the Friars Club in October, Jenna and her co-star, Jim Van Slyke were asked to bring the show to Birdland as part of their Broadway at Birdland Series, produced by Jim Caruso. Read on for all of the details!
Many of you probably know the hits of Connie Francis and the hits of Neil Sedaka, but you might not know that their musical histories are closely intertwined. It was Connie who gave Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield their first big break as songwriters when she recorded "Stupid Cupid." Seeing Connie write in her diary on the very first day they met, when he first played "Stupid Cupid" for her, inspired Neil to write "The Diary," which would become his first hit as a singer! And...the stories continue!
So, in this special musical celebration, Jenna will be singing the songs of Connie Francis, and renowned vocalist Jim Van Slyke will be performing the songs of Neil Sedaka - and of course, there will be a duet or two!

A Note from Jenna
Happy December, All!
Wow, can you believe we're nearly to the end of the year?! I sure can't! I guess time really does fly when you're having fun...and believe me, I've had a blast this year!
With performances at the Highline Ballroom, Empire City Casino, a mix of restaurants and nightclubs, numerous Italian festivals, as well as more private events than ever before, it's truly been an exciting year for me! And, of course, there was the Connie Francis/Neil Sedaka tribute at the Friars Club, attended by Neil, himself, as well as baseball legend Hank Aaron! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to be doing the show at Birdland. Jim Van Slyke, the band, and I had such a fantastic time performing for the Friars, and we can't wait to do the show for the Birdland crowd!
I'm also really looking forward to all of my holiday performances, beginning with the Little Italy Christmas Tree Lighting this weekend! There's nothing that puts me in the Christmas spirit like singing Christmas songs, and I'm thrilled that I have a number of opportunities to do so this season!

As the year winds to a close, Jenna is looking forward to some very exciting upcoming performances!
She'll be kicking things off this weekend, with a performance at the Little Italy Christmas Tree Lighting, and then onSaturday, December 21st, she'll be performing on a float in the annual East Meets West Christmas Parade, which winds through Little Italy and Chinatown. On Sunday, December 22nd, it's two performances of the annualEsposito Family Christmas Concert, and then to close the year with a bang, Jenna and Jim Van Slyke are bringing their Connie Francis/Neil Sedaka tribute, Where The Hits Are, to the famed Birdland stage!
It's going to be an exciting month, for sure, and we hope to see you at one or more performances. Read below for details!

Jenna Celebrates Christmas in Little Italy!
Jenna has had a wonderful time participating in the Little Italy Christmas celebrations the last few years, and is honored to be back for this year's festivities! First up, it's the Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 7th, and then it's the annual East Meets West Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 21st. On both occasions, Jenna will be accompanied by her father and musical director, Fortune Esposito, on guitar. Both events are free and open to the public, and are sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

Nothing ushers in the holiday season quite like the annual Esposito Family Christmas Concert! Every year, Jenna, her father, Fortune, her sister, Kelly, and Kelly's husband Rob (how's THAT for a family show?!) join together to celebrate the season with favorite carols and holiday tunes. For the past 3 years, the concerts have been made extra-special by the addition of Charlie Broelmann, Kelly and Rob's son, on the drums! Now 6 years old, Charlie has been practicing all year, and can't wait to perform in this year's concert! To check out a video of him performing with his papa earlier this year, click here!

Kelly Esposito-Broelmann runs a fantastic music and movement program for babies, toddlers, and children up through age 7, called Kindermusik with Kelly.
The fall session is underway, but new families are always welcome (click here for schedule and price info). Kelly also holds a number of fun, one-time "playdates" that are open to registered families as well as non-registered families.
