DAYLIGHT: Edit Rocks the Fashion World in its Debut February 23, 24, 25, 2014 Best Fashion Trade Show Ever Says Whom You Know! Peachy Deegan Even Had Her Portrait Done in Her Geiger Jacket!
Once upon a time there was a girl named Peachy Deegan, who wrote about the best of everything on whomyouknow.com. When it was a young site, Peachy went to a lot of trade shows to get a lot of ideas. When the site got older, she had met so many brands of excellence she spent less time at trade shows because at a trade show, of course everyone there will tell you they are the best, but that's just not true. She prayed and prayed for a fabulous trade show where everything actually would be excellent and God answered her prayers. Peachy clicked her ruby red Paul Mayer Attitudes heels and said, "I want to go to a beautiful trade show....I want to go to a beautiful trade show...I want to go to a beautiful trade show."
All of a sudden, Peachy saw a big pink bubble on the horizon and out popped Alexandra d'Archangelo with her magic wand. Alexandra said, "Peachy, show up in February at Edit!" and so Peachy did. The trade show was fabulous. We have yet to feature any of the brands but they have been invited for review consideration, so stay tuned to Fashion Alert. The quality of the brands we saw is the primary reason we thought the trade show was fantastic.
It did not hurt them that they pulled out all the stops though. It was fun to get our portrait done (read more here about how to get in the pink with Geiger's pink jacket Peachy wore) and create our own bespoke relaxation oil. The food was fantastic and champagne was served...we met nice people...we look forward to the next one in September 2014. Thumbs up Alex! If you are lucky she will wave you with her wand; this trade show is JURIED thank goodness!
