Specialty Potato Alliance Organic Red Fingerlings Highly Recommended by Whom You Know!
Like many Americans, I grew up thinking a potato is a potato. I sampled them in many formats (baked, mashed, fried, and more!), but never gave much thought as to heritage or quality. Thanks to Specialty Potato Alliance, though, I now have a new-found appreciation for potatoes in general, but especially for fingerling potatoes. A small, narrow potato varietal, fingerlings are not as common as the varietals that line supermarket shelves, but, when produced and prepared correctly, have the potential to be extremely versatile and flavorful. Specialty Potato Alliance is dedicated to providing top-quality, certified organic fingerling potatoes year-round, and the results are terrific. Their Organic Red Fingerlings not only provide a lovely dash of color to any meal, but also they are also absolutely delicious, adding fantastic flavor to countless meals. They don't fry as easily as their yellow counterparts, so are best roasted, but truly, they're enjoyable in just about any way imaginable! Highly recommended by this panelist!
Flavorful potatoes should be enjoyed in any guise. Little Red Fingerlings from Specialty Potato Alliance are happiest when they’re not fried, so get out those recipe books you’ve let gather dust, and delve. These little delicate morsels are creamy, so I’ve used them in an unusual potato salad. Blended with other vegetables and a touch of tang, the red fingerlings developed and cosseted by Specialty Potato Alliance will bring smiles all around. Store them in or out of the fridge, and don’t feel the need to over cook them. The taste is wonderful, and will add a special touch to your meat and potatoes dinners, if that’s the favorite at your house.
I’ve always enjoyed Garlic and rosemary roasted potatoes. They’re a divine dish, and one of my favorites! I didn’t expect that they could get more delicious, so was pleasantly surprised (amazed, actually) when I made them using Organic Red Fingerlings from the Specialty Potato Alliance. These potatoes tasted great with just a minimal amount of garlic and seasoning. They were fresh, flavorful, and colorful (so they looked amazing as well as tasting amazing)! I wish I had saved some to try without any seasoning at all, as I’m sure their natural flavor would have been incredible as well. As a bonus, I tried them the next morning as a home-fries alternative with eggs… Fantastic!
