We work primarily with natural fibers, like cottons and worsted wools and are committed to using renewable natural fibers from American growers whenever possible. We do piece dyeing and package dyeing in house and the combined experience of our excellent employees exceeds 300 years. Sotheby’s 11 June 2014 sale of Important 20th Century Design will offer a curated selection of European and American decorative arts and design spanning the last 100 years, opening with an outstanding collection of America Art Glass by Tiffany Studios and Steuben from the Estate of Dr Edward and Helen McConnell. The collection showcases many rare and extraordinary examples displaying the range of decorative techniques by both firms. Also on offer are a modernist four-panel screen by Eileen Gray and other rare and iconic works by American designers Paul Lobel, Donald Deskey, Harry Bertoia, George Nakashima andDonald Judd.
