Introducing Lavender Elixir! The Floral Elixir Co. announces luxurious Floral Elixirs to accent champagne, spirits and sodas. Here's What Whom You Know Says About Lavender!
If you think lavender is just for massage oils and herbal sachets, think again! Thanks to Floral Elixir Company, lavender is now a fantastic cocktail mixer! Founded by Nora Egger and based in Ohio, Floral Elixir Company is dedicated to creating tasty drink mixers using pure floral extracts, along with a dash of pure cane sugar. Their Lavender Elixir is made with pure lavender, along with a touch of blueberry, and it is simply fantastic. It's sweet, with just the slightest hint of tang, and it is a fantastic option to add a unique and special flavor to any number of cocktails! I added it to a gin and tonic, and was thrilled with the results. It doesn't interfere with the original drink, but instead, works to bring out interesting and unique flavors, while adding its own special quality. I'll definitely be keeping it stocked in my pantry, going forward!
What dream of Provence doesn't thrive on the scent of Lavender? In the French countryside, or in the ancient gardens of England's country estates, lavender lends not just color, but an entire realm of scent to our dreams. Its flavor and essence is captured in a luxury Elixir, and can be used in flavoring quiet cocktails or celebratory champagne toasts. Let your imagination wander a bit, and use the Lavender
Elixir with a deft hand. Try it in a champagne glass, with flecks of gold, and your champagne of choice, for a never ordinary brunch cocktail. Lavender in recipes adds that premier touch that finishes a brilliant meal. Handcrafted with the finest pure ingredients, Lavender Elixir will lend a layer of nuance to even a simple vinaigrette. The little pamphlet that comes conveniently with each stately bottle recommends various cocktails, and suggests adding it to your cup of aromatic tea. What a delicious idea. Non-alcoholic, Lavender Elixir will be an elegant addition to your next luncheon, or cocktail party. Don't save it for Springtime, though. Being that floral indoors now, for a breath of what will be when the buds are once again on the trees, and green leaves begin to unfurl.
I love creating amazing cocktails and gourmet recipes. In order to make the best drinks, you have to use the freshest ingredients. I really love Floral Elixir, these fantastic floral infusions give life to dull food and drinks. They are made using the best natural floral extracts and pure cane sugar. Floral Elixirs come in many floral varieties. My favorite is the Floral Elixir of English Lavender. My favorite recipe is adding English Lavender Floral Elixir to hot tea, a lovely treat.
Just the smell of lavender alone relaxes me and transcends my mind into a more peaceful and stress-free state. So I love the idea of a Lavender Floral Elixir to mix into a favorite new drink. Lemonade is not just a Summer drink for me as I like the tart taste. Typically I mix fresh blueberries into my lemonade and mix it with Kettle One. So I decided to replace the blueberries with the Lavender Elixir. Pure heaven. Intoxicating in smell and flavor. Plus, with Orchid as the 2014 Pantone color of the year, who wouldn’t want to walk around carrying an exquisite purple colored drink?

About the company and founder/owner Nora Egger: In 2009. Nora Egger established her business upon her return to the United States after over a decade of living in Europe. Originally from Vienna, Nora traveled extensively in Europe and the world due to her work in international recruitment and consulting. As her travels took her further into the Mediterranean, Balkans, the Middle East and Asia, Nora became fascinated by the diversity of the global drink and food culture. Already a passionate cook and lover of gourmet foods, Nora wanted to share the exotic and botanical flavors she discovered and started creating the Floral Elixirs to share with friends and family. Today, she still makes each bottle by hand with a small team in Cleveland, Ohio and has designed labels and marketing to reflect her roots in Vienna from the Viennese Secession movement.
