Take a Trip: BestBus Announces New Route from Manassas to NYC and Daily Roundtrip Services BestBus Offers New Services for Northern Virginia Residents starting July 18, 2014 Save time, money and worry.

BestBus tells Whom You Know readers:

Calling Northern Virginia residents: summer in New York City is in full swing, and the city’s open-air concerts, sparkling waterfront and rooftop parties are beckoning. NYC’s five boroughs shine in the summer: Hit up the rides and games at Coney Island’s Luna Park, hunt for unique finds at Brooklyn Flea or stroll down the High Line sampling delicious bites from local vendors.

Starting in July, New York City’s famous sights and sounds are more easily attainable than ever without the cost, stress or nuisance of air, train or car travel. BestBus (formerly DC2NY) is announcing a new route servicing Northern Virginia to New York, NY.

The popular bus provider’s newest route launches on Friday, July 18, 2014, originating in the Commonwealth of Virginia: Manassas to NYC.

BestBus is pleased to announce two new benefits for its loyal Virginia customer base: the new Manassas stop is conveniently located in the commuter parking lot on Cushing Road near the Omniride-PRTC stop, offering plenty of free parking and easy access to I-66. In addition, the company’s current service via two stops in Virginia on a Thursday-Monday schedule is expanding to daily operations.

With the addition of the Manassas Park & Ride stop, weekend-only service in Virginia has finally expanded to daily service between Manassas, the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU and the Franconia/Springfield Metro Stops in Virginia and New York City. Depending on traffic and weather conditions, the trip takes between four and five hours and costs $33. Public parking located near the stop makes this new departure location ideal for VA residents.
