The New York Landmarks Conservancy Presents: Tourist In Your Own Town #33 - Trinity Church

Take a look inside Trinity Church in Lower Manhattan. The present church is the third built on this site for New York's oldest Episcopal congregation. Designed by Richard Upjohn in 1846, Trinity is one of the first Gothic Revival buildings in New York City.

The surrounding cemetery is the final resting place of many notable Americans including Alexander Hamilton, Robert Fulton and Francis Lewis.

Designated as both a City and National Landmark, Trinity Church offers a peaceful setting for many downtown residents, workers and visitors.
