If we could figure out a way to work from a pool and not get electrocuted and be productive, we'd be there in our Miraclesuit yesterday.
You'll remember we featured the Jena by Miraclesuit during our 5 year anniversary coverage and published on it in February, and it is on Peachy Deegan above. Sadly, Manhattan and also Washington, D.C. are not great places for pools in February.
But summer is! And, you'll recall that we've been to the Westin Georgetown a time or two.
In case you don't think Peachy looks like she is working hard, know that in this picture she is thinking up a million new ideas in an environment that is the ultimate for inspiration. And, when her head's not in the water, it is between the pages of Edge of Eternity by Ken Follett- all 1,100 pages of it which are admittedly a bit waterlogged.
Happily waterlogged. (thank you Michelle for taking these pictures of Peachy-hope you are reading!) We were multitasking doing reading and water aerobics. We like how the Westin has smartly installed panels above the pool which you see in the reflection that prevent glare and make the pool sunny enough without being absolutely scorching.
The pool at The Westin Georgetown is our favorite part, as you can tell from the above smile-meter. The Westin Georgetown was previously featured in Haute Hotels. It's four feet around and gracefully hidden above ground level for premium privacy.
It is immaculately clean. This is of utmost importance to us. A maintenance worker told us the water is tested multiple times per day. The rules are listed clearly and people there heed them. A watercooler and bathroom are superclose. The security is tight. It looks over a gorgeous courtyard. There is nothing not to love about this pool!

The atmosphere around the pool is well-kept up with pretty flowers and comfortable sun couches, deck chairs and lounges.
We hated to leave. We have yet to find a pool in Manhattan we enjoy as much as this one, but feel free to challenge us! We have not nearly tried them all.
