Last Month's Mystery Landmark

The Gould Memorial Library is a Beaux Arts Landmark designed by the great Stanford White in 1899. At the time, this structure was part of the uptown campus for New York University, which is now Bronx Community College.

Here is a video the Conservancy made about the site that includes the 1901 Hall of Fame for Great Americans.

The building was correctly identified by Jean Arrington, who cited public schools by C.B.J. Snyder as favorite landmarks.
