It's a long weekend, so time to sort out your closet and see what needs to be sent to the cleaner; and in particular, Hallak Cleaners! bien sur mes amies. We have worked with them for years and would never trust anyone else to touch our clothes. Recently, Peachy Deegan's blue Tahari suit took a trip to visit them. It has been assigned to write this article while Peachy is busy researching other disciplines (no need to ever research cleaners again!).

Don't I look fabulous in that top picture? You should have seen me before. I only get my picture taken when I am just back from Spa Hallak, as I like to say, or when Peachy is wearing me. You can imagine it is not easy to be Peachy's clothes with the frequency she jets all around Manhattan interacting with so many people in the public realm (I try not to be the trade show outfit), and the dinner reviews?!?! I won't even tell you how accidents can happen and there can be stain possibilities even if she tries to be neat, which she mostly is. Look the skirt part of me now, so evenly pressed and crisp. I love to feel this way. Creases happen when Peachy sits down...as would happen with any normal human.
And the jacket part of me? Just perfect down to every last detail. Even if a person is moving around at a normal pace, often times when you buy garments today buttons are sewn on horribly and they become loose. Hallak removes and sews the buttons back on and they are anchored just right now.
My creases and seams line up exactly right, and I was hand-finished.
I am returned on Hallak hangars with the signature bright pink logo and stuffed with tissue...
..,through the sleeve right down to the cuff.
I am Peachy's Blue Tahari suit and I look perfect now that I took a visit to John-Claude's place. Stay tuned to see me on Peachy on an upcoming adventure where I will try to stay clean! Until then, I will take a nap in the closet. Have a great weekend!
