"I Heart NY Landmarks!" Says Peachy Deegan! Do You? Of Course You Do! Follow the Below and Win with The New York Landmarks Conservancy

To better understand the rich architectural legacy that surrounds us in New York, each month, the Landmarks Conservancy explores the City’s iconic buildings and diverse neighborhoods with information and images on social media, our Mystery Landmark competition, and our Tourist In Your Own Town video series.

In February, in celebration of Valentine’s Day, we’re very proud to launch our first I Heart NY Landmarks Photo Contest!

Submit a photo(s) of your favorite New York City Landmark(s) by midnight February 5, 2015 to photos@nylandmarks.org for a chance to win a Best Buy gift certificate (1st prize: $100, 2nd prize: $50, and 3rd prize: $25).

Voting will occur on Facebook between February 6th and 12th. The contest will close at midnight February 12th. The winning photos, based on the most “likes” received, will be announced onFebruary 13th.

Throughout the month, we’ll feature some of the sites submitted.

CONTEST DETAILS

How to Enter

• All entries must be submitted via email to photos@nylandmarks.org

• All entries must be submitted and received by midnight Thursday, February 5th EST.

• By submitting photos, participants certify that the image(s) provided are theirs and grant the Landmarks Conservancy the right to use the photos for purposes of promoting the contest.

• You may enter as many photos as you wish.

• Images must be submitted by the individual who took them.

• Maximum file size limit for emailed submissions is 5 MB. Photographs can be submitted in jpeg, gif, and/or png formats.

• All entries will be posted in an I Heart NY Landmarks photo album on the Conservancy’sFacebook page on February 6, 2015.

• Public voting will occur on Facebook between February 6th and February 12th. The contest will close at midnight February 12th.

• The top three photos, based on the most “likes” received, will be announced and posted onFacebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram on February 13th.

Prizes

• 1st place winner will receive a $100 Best Buy gift certificate

• 2nd place winner a $50 Best Buy gift certificate

• 3rd place winner a $25 Best Buy gift certificate
