This unique new Shiso has leaves that are green on top and pink/purple on the bottom. With light aromatic citrus, earthy notes and a hint of mint, the flavor is in between the Japanese Shiso Red and the Korean Shiso (also called Kaenip or Sesame Leaf). Shiso is one of the most difficult flavors to describe.
