For the last 23 years the GRAMMY Foundation® has provided top high school singers and musicians with a free trip to the host city of the annual GRAMMY Awards® to perform and record during GRAMMY Week as part of its GRAMMY CampÒ — Jazz Session program. The all-star performances on GRAMMY Jazz 23 represent just one of the many activities the students were involved in during their stay in Los Angeles in 2015, including performances at a wide range of official GRAMMY Week events. Thanks to the generosity of Capitol Recording Studios, the students were able to record at their legendary location in Hollywood, Calif., from Feb. 5-7. The album is the result of just one day of tracking for the GRAMMY choir, GRAMMY combo and GRAMMY band.

The album was produced by GRAMMY Foundation Executive Education Director David R. Sears, recorded by Steve Genewick, mixed by 20-time GRAMMY winner and engineering legend Al Schmitt, and mastered by multi-GRAMMY winner Bernie Grundman. The GRAMMY Choir and GRAMMY Combo are directed by Dr. Ron McCurdy of the USC Thornton School of Music. The GRAMMY Band is directed byJustin DiCioccio of the Manhattan School of Music.

WHERE: The album will be available at select online retailers, including iTunes,Amazon, Rhapsody, Spotify, Google Play, Gracenote, Shazam, and Xbox Music.GRAMMY Camp — Jazz Session albums from 2007–2014 are available for purchase at these online music outlets as well.

The GRAMMY Foundation® was established in 1988 to cultivate the understanding, appreciation and advancement of the contribution of recorded music to American culture. The Foundation accomplishes this mission through programs and activities that engage the music industry and cultural community as well as the general public. The Foundation works in partnership year-round with its founder, The Recording Academy, to bring national attention to important issues such as the value and impact of music and arts education and the urgency of preserving our rich cultural heritage. In recognition of the significant role of teachers in shaping their students' musical experiences, the GRAMMY Foundation and The Recording Academy partnered to present their first Music Educator Award™ in 2014. Open to current U.S. music teachers in kindergarten through college, the third annual Music Educator Award will be given out during GRAMMY Week 2016.
