Player Stats — David Villa

Villa said
We were very close. I think we had good chances, and I think we dominated throughout the game. We just to have to keep going, and work harder, and look forward to the next game vs. Philadelphia.

In the coach's words
David has had several really, really strong and confident and leadership-like performances. This was one of them. But the Chicago game when we went down two and went down a man, he was a beast in that one as well. Yes, you want to see that kind of effort every single week and I feel like he wants to give it every single week.
